Third person's POV
Grey clouds were walking, covering the blue sky as some flowers were swayed from left to right as well as the leaves. The cafe was majorly occupied by university students, whether for doing their works, having a pleasant drink while enjoying their surroundings, or just trying to seek shelter in case the rain's pouring. Outside the cafe, some people were walking hurriedly while others taking their own time.
And at that moment, the rain started pouring. The sky's crying softly, dropping its tears below, making people running while covering their heads or just hurriedly taking out their umbrella. Some of them standing outside the cafe to prevent themselves from being hit by the raindrops as they finally falling heavily.
The sound from the blender was filling the room alongside the music that was being played on the speaker.
"Making new drinks, darling?", a black wavy-haired lady with light make up on her face and a minimalist dress covered her body, showing her curves perfectly, walked up towards the counter where Charlotte was mixing things in the blender. She's the definition of beauty and elegance, in Charlotte's first impression.
"Miss Cordelia!", Charlotte's eyes lit up seeing the lady in her 40s coming up towards her, "You're still here? I thought you have gone to your office"
"I forgot to bring some important things", she flashed a smile while showing a report on her right hand, "May I ask what kind of drink are you making, Lotie?"
"Special beverages for Christmas Eve!", Charlotte responded, "Should I make it greenie?!", she giggled on her own choice of word, "Or maybe gingerbread, a family set of gingerbread!"
"Not only about family, but Christmas Eve is also about love, dear", she started walked away, "Couple set will be a nice trend"
Charlotte thought for a second before she blasted a huge smile, "Yeah, right, thanks for the idea, Miss Cordelia, have a good day!"
"You, too, darling", Cordelia flashed a small smile before she left the cafe.
Charlotte respects her a lot. A beautiful lady with huge success in her career life, but her private life is just all full of mysteries. But, she's really thankful for her help that she's able to run a cafe now. They just met at the perfect time, she thought.

"Yes, I'll be there in fifteen minutes", Cordelia talked through the phone as she opened her black umbrella.
"Just make sure th—argh", she looked up at the person that she's bumped at, "I apologized, are you...", she stopped as she met eyes with a guy that was inches taller than her.
A dirty grey coloured hoodie was preventing his head and body from the pouring rain. water dripping from his slightly wet hair. He gave a confused look then showing his smug smile as he went away, leaving the lady perplexed.
"He didn't even greet me", Cordelia said as she watched his back entering the cafe, "Like father like son"

"Welcome, what would you like to have today?", Charlotte greeted with a smile until she saw the person that's standing right in front of her.
'The fine guy from this morning', she recalled, wondering if he went to the same university as her.
"Mochaccino", he ordered.
"One mochaccino, would you like to have anything else?"
He shook his head while he had his right hand running through his hair, combing it back.
"Are you having it here or—"
"I'm having it here", he said as he getting his wallet out, taking a glance at the machine cashier then paid the bill.
Judging from his behaviour, Charlotte thought that he's a pretty straightforward person, like no much talking and just straight to the action.
"I will serve your order in a few minutes, please take a seat", Charlotte gave her business smile once again as she proceeded to make the order. Yet, the guy didn't move even an inch, but just staring at her, making Charlotte feeling confused and uneasy.
"Are there anything else that you need?"
He stared at her for a moment before flashing his smile again, "Nothing", then he walked towards an empty seat.
Thinking that something might be on her face made Charlotte stole a quick glance at the mirror that was placed near her bag, "There's nothing", she mumbled, "Or perhaps does he have a grudge on me because I bumped into him this morning?"
"Bumped into who? A handsome man?", Chloe abruptly showed up behind Charlotte, making her startled.
"Damn, Chloe!"
"Chill girl", she laughed.
Charlotte proceeded to make the Mochaccino as quickly as possible, hoping that she didn't make the guy waited for too long.
"Whose drink is this?", Chloe asked as she put on her apron.
Using her chin, pointed at the previous guy who's sitting calmly by the window, watching the water falling from the sky.
"Oh my Lotie, that guy is a gorgeous one"
"Yeah, he is"
Chloe was surprised to see a fine guy sitting in the cafe, but Charlotte's response surprised her more. Showing her shocked face as if it's the first time Charlotte had ever praised a human being, "What's this? Charlotte Roseanne, praising a guy?"
"What? Had I never praised someone?"
"Not a guy", she teased, "What's his name?"
Charlotte realized that she didn't ask his name when she took his order, "I don't know", she shrugged as she placed a cup of mochaccino on the tray, "Could you please take this to him?"
"Gladly!"

The clock was showing five past five when the last customer went out.
"Hey, Lotie", Chloe called as she drank her Americano.
Charlotte that was previously wiping the table, turned her attention towards her bestie.
"I think I know that guy"
"Which guy?'
"That gorgeous guy"
"You mean the one with that dirty grey coloured hoodie?", Charlotte continued her cleaning activity.
She nodded, "His face seems familiar", she mumbled as she took her phone and typed on it.
A slow beat of melody was preventing the room from being too silent, giving out a calm vibe. The wiping and moving chairs sounds were all over the room as well, alongside the music, before Chloe's voice echoed through the whole room.
"I knew it!", Chloe exclaimed.
"What?", shocked by her friend's screaming, Charlotte walked up toward her.
"He is one of the dreamy guys that everyone wants to date with"
"The what?", confusion was drawn all over Charlotte's face.
"Ethan Dryk Oberon", Chloe said as she showed her a photo of Ethan, the fine guy that she met this morning and the one that came to her cafe a few hours ago.
"Also the other guy that helps me when I quarrelled with my ex, he's Leon Onyx Carden and his twin brother, Noel Jasper Carden", Chloe said, "They are friends with this Ethan guy since high school, plus the playboy of our university, Aiden Axton Darcelle", Chloe explained as she showed her the pictures of two familiar guys and one unrecognizable guy.
"I never knew that I was known as the playboy", a voice from behind them caught them off guard.
"For my cheesecake sake, who are you?", Charlotte blabbered, "We are closed!"
"The closed sign wasn't hanged there", the guy pointed at the entrance.
"For the sake of my heart, Aiden Axton Darcelle", Chloe let out another exclamation.
"It's weird to hear my full name being called, but yes that's me", he smirked.
Charlotte didn't realize that there will be another person who will have a prominent role in her life.
