The location of the Mechanical City was somewhat special in the northern region. There was a city less than 30km away from the Mechanical City that had been abandoned by humans. In the early days of the global mutation of creatures, this city had once been an industrial city that manufactured cars. Its name was Detroit.
After the city of Detroit was abandoned by humans, a new organization appeared more than 300 years ago. This organization was very good at creating all kinds of strange machinery. They occupied the city of Detroit and only moved to a nearby plain a few decades later. Then, they named it the Mechanical City.
As for the reason for their relocation, there were many different theories. The most popular one was that there was a legendary incident.
