"Man, it's such a drag though," Shou complained, making sure his voice was heard. "If all humans could just get along with each other, that'd be great."
"You know that is an impossibility though, right," Si said, something that was unlike her age—wait, how old was she actually? She never told him.
"Probably. I don't think there's ever been an age where humans did not fight," Shou racked his brain. Maybe there was, but he couldn't remember. Anyway, it had to be in the minority, as in his mind, as long as one more person existed, there was bound to be trouble. "But well, a little discord is always good for the race, so don't get me wrong. Ah, who cares, it is not my place to judge. I am human too, after all."
"Well, only barely [lol]," Si whispered to herself.
"Moving on, I suppose it was only a matter of time for me to get involved in worldly affairs," Shou said. "I just wished it was something more interesting."
