It was a beautiful spring day when mum and dad left for work and left my older brother and I, Jack. Jack is one of the most annoying brother you would ever wish for. He was very tall and muscular, he also had very catchy brown eyes with beautiful black hair. I, on the other hand had none of these. I was not so pretty and had little to no friends. My name is Pearl but many people don't treat me like one. I was weird to other kids at school and no one actually understood me, apart from that I also had no love life at all. The last time I had a crush was in 1st grade and he obviously didn't like me since then I never really thought it was something I like though I saw cute couples and always loved them.
Jack was white and was also one of the popular boys at school; Rock Highschool. He always got what he wanted from both my mum and dad, he got praised for things I can do with my eyes closed. He was literally like a god at school, he commanded people at school and they didn't see anything wrong with it instead they feel please that Jack even knows theirs names. I found it disgusting but it was only because I was different from everyone at school I was also black for some reason. Mom said I took it from Grandpa Frank but it felt unreal. Well it's just it!
I was black, had brown curly hair that puffed up and I liked. I was at the small side. Jack always made fun of me because I was short, I had brown eyes and an hourglass body shape which I hated because of the attention and there was a time at school one if Jack's friend inappropriately touched me and all Jack said was "just roll with it" because he obviously liked his friends more than me. It was like he was not related to me in public.
I just over looked it because I was used to it. I always wore baggy clothes because of my body so I always looked like gangster or some street kid and I always wore boots or sneakers
