Chereads / Duke's child is a girl / Chapter 4 - chapter 4

Chapter 4 - chapter 4

I somehow got my Father to agree. He sure is stubborn.

I walked down the hallway just to see some rampage happening between guards.

I must have not given them enough training to discipline.

"What is this behaviour?"

"Ah! Young Master! Good Morning!"

"Yeah, Yeah, Good Morning, and stop making noise in the hallway and go back to work,"

"But he..." "... he too, Sir!"

Ah... I'm not listening to them, Seriously? How am I even tolerating them?

I have been friends-in-name with all guards now, and none of them is loyal to the Duke except a few, which eventually will be on my side.

"Stop! you two!"

They both got quiet and gone on their way.

I see guards are slacking off nowadays, I need to discipline them.

...

"Ayo! Young Master ain't going easy on the Captain!"

Hmph! He is so weak now compared to when we first met.

Soon his sword was flown away.

"Ah! I lost again!"

I got the towel handed over by the Butler.

"You all! Salut!"

"Yes, Sir!"

They are quite obedient.

"I see that some of you are slacking off in duties handed over to you, and can anyone tell me why is that so?"

My father no longer sees to the military as he saw I can do the work anyways.

'Why the hard work' That is what my father must have thought.

Let's just get staff on the line first.

Sigh!

...

Two sectors are now prospering properly. Then I got the notice from the maids.

"Miss Maria is going under labour,"

Yeah, it has been 6 months since then.

I carried a smile while approaching her room.

Wahhhhhhh!!!! I heard the cry. Damn! That's loud.

My father was not here during my sibling was born, he was in a meeting in the Imperial Palace.

And I recently got to know that the Imperial record files have my gender recorded as female.

Of course, they didn't check it.

Even if they suspect, I'm pretty used to living as the male gender.

"It's a boy," My sibling is a boy. Well, you thought I will kill him for being a boy, No, I'm quite happy cause it was something new for me.

At least he is in a happy atmosphere than the gloomy one I had.

"I hope it's a healthy child,"

Butler, who delivered me as a midwife, also delivered my sibling.

She carefully handed me, my little brother is very short.

"It looks healthy, though I don't know much about children," Butler smiled along with me.

"By the way, for the name, ask Miss Maria, as she is the mother," Butler agreed.

...

"She says it's Amar,"

"Hmm... Amar Khanna sounds great."
