In the blink of an eye, after the beautiful fairy disappeared from her sight, the little girl found herself standing in front of an wooden house.
The little girl didn't know what she was doing here, until she heard a muffled voice behind the window.
The little girl was curious, and at the same time scared. She was afraid that maybe, behind the window, was another bunch of bad guys sitting on the table laughing and playing like what she saw on the cavern.
However, there was something within her that kept on wanting to get close to that house, and see what was behind the window.
She didn't know why, but there was a feeling that if she will not go over there to look, she will regret it for the rest of her life...
The little girl clenched her hands, then started to walk quietly, and carefully poke her head to the side and gasped.
Behind the window, the little girl saw Alex being tied up with bloods dripping on the ground, and a cloth on his mouth.
The little girl was so scared. She was frightened! But her worry about her friend overpowered her fear.
However, she didn't know what to do. She was just only a child without any knowledge at all except cleaning!
In the midst of the little girl's panic, she noticed ten fireflies flying in front of her, from the rock and back to the window that was in front of her.
At first the little girl was confused, but when they kept on repeating, the little girl finally realized something.
They were helping her! The little girl screamed in her mind.
With a smile on her lips, the little girl thanked the fireflies happily, "Thank you my friend fireflies!"
After successfully breaking the window with a bunch of rocks, the little girl rushed beside the unconscious Alex.
"Alex. Alex, wake up." The little girl said, yet it was all futile. Thus, she slapped his cheeks hard to wake him up. Unfortunately, she still didn't succeed in waking him up, even though she already exerted all her strength in that slap.
If she had not touched Alex and felt his warmth, she would think that he was already dead.
Thankfully, she followed her instincts. Thankfully, she didn't ignore her feelings. Thankfully, she was not overcome by fear. If not, she would really regret it.
Suddenly the little girl recalled her dad once said to her in the living room.
"Splashing water can wake up a sleeping person. "
However, there was no water here except....
The river! The little girl thought to herself. Then, she grinned.
She was so proud of herself for being smart. But then, the smile on her face distorted, when she glanced at the huge figure of her friend and herself.
The little girl knew that she can't carry Alex because of how huge he was. Looking at his friend's body, the little girl estimated that her friend might be as heavy as an elephant, thus she decided to drag his body.
However, on her way to the window, she met an obstacle. Looking up and looking back to her friend, the little girl fell in deep thought.
A huge problem had occurred. How can they pass through the window?
Pondering for a bit, suddenly a bright idea appeared on her mind. The little girl run to the window and looked through the forest, "Fireflies, please help me carry my friend to the river."
With that said, the little girl waited and waited but no fireflies came in, nor they appeared. But just when she was about to be despondent , she felt something on her back. Thus, she turned around to look what it is, and then she gasped.
