Chapter 6 - Promises

They say, "Promises are made to be broken". But what is promises are meant for you?

Many people have different beliefs and different meaning. Some of us will say.. "It is a sort of an expectations or assurance". Or is it something that will test upon our faith and purpose in life. According to dictionary, promises is a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen — meaning it is a commitment, a word of covenant in order to follow.

But what is promises meant for you? Do you tend to keep it or do you tend to break it? Are you a word keeper? Or are you just like a beckon when move one's hand to and from in greeting or as a signal as wave that follows…

In my rational state of mind.. Promises is a sacred word — a vow, an oath that commit oneself or bind oneself to be expected to happen.

It may not happen now, but in certainty will happen tomorrow or in the future.

Promises are not just a word but it is an action to put into motivation in aspects of their daily inspiration to their love ones, self-satisfaction, self-interest and a word of compassion. Doing so.. if you promise that you will do something, you say to someone that you will definitely do it. Don't make promises, that you are not capable of keeping it.

Promises are made to be broken when you keep doubting, when you keep overthinking.. when you feel there is no hope.. when you feel lack of confidence and lack of faith.. when you start feeling there is no point on keeping the promises, then you lost.

Promises is NOT meant to be broken. It is our responsibility to value it or break it. Actions do speaks louder than words.

When we break a promise — we lost people we love. We lose the things we have.. dreams, happiness and freedom. Then, we feel resentful and regretful.

But whatever happens, never lose yourself in making a promise.

Know yourself. You need yourself to become your own "keep sake box" who lives every moment with a word of honor and integrity. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Integrity is the most valuable and respected quality of keeping a promises.
