Chapter 1 - The Author only had herself to Blame

"You've got to be kidding me..."

In a empty alley, Dulu was squatted on the ground. The heat was blaring as the sun fried her pasty skin which was from being a NEET. For a good-for-nothing that stayed shut in her room even in her late twenties, Dulu was about to die from dehydration. Never in her life has she been expose to such harsh weather so openly. This was her third day here in this new world. She was only dressed in a large plain tee and thin pj pants.

Her house slippers were extremely dirty with dried up mud and dirt. She wandered around like a beggar for the past two days. Thinking back, Dulu still has no idea how she came here or where she was. Walking for a few hours, people on the road avoided her as she looked like a dirty beggar. Murmuring and whispering under their breaths as they passed by.

[Ding. Ding. Ding.]

"Wtf...?"

Dulu softly cursed, stupefied.

[You are in close approximately with the leading male character, YeYu.]

A voice spoke within her head.

"Are you my cheat? Are you a host friendly system?"

Dulu asked in bewilderment.

[Host has been sent here to fix your errors.]

"Errors? What do you mean? Can you explain? I'm not the smartest pickle here."

[I know.]

"...I want you to know that I am highly offended but I forgive you if you answer my previous questions."

Dulu tilted her chin up. Similar to her most used messenger sticker, a proud hamster which would stick it's face up to the sky as if he ruled the world. The system was silent. It decided to ignore it's retarded host's stupidity and answered monotony.

[Host must have recognized the male lead named "YeYu" by now.]

Dulu pondered with difficulty before realizing that YeYu was the main character of one of her novels.

"Wait, so I transmigrated into my own novel? But...why? Noooo, it can't be. Is this like one of those webnovels I have read, where the main character goes through different worlds and stuff. Oooo, that sounds so cool. So am I right or am I right?"

The system was silent as it felt pity for itself. The system felt empathy for the other systems it had seen in the system world, voicing their complaints as their own mentally stupid hosts go through worlds and fuck up everything. Luckily, these worlds that Dulu would go through are her own novels. Which were already in chaos.

[Yes. But you're mission here is to fix your errors. And until those errors are fixed, you will not be able to return to your world for an indefinite amount of time.]

"B-but, I'm just a weak human. How am I gonna survive this world?"

Dulu sobbed.

Now this was the typical reaction when one gets tossed to another world. System felt pity for it's host.

[The rules of these worlds will support you as you are similar to a creator. But you are not allowed to physically tell you're identity to others.]

"So what do I do now? I have no skills. Does the system have any point shops, cheats, or other things to support me?"

[System is at level 0...system abilities are limited. System does not even have a spiritual body.]

"So...I have to think for myself?! B-but I'm dumb... And I'm hungry. Stinky too."

[System sees in the files that host likes BL. Why don't host go follow the male lead. Maybe you could become close companions and watch you own novel in person.]

"Oh, you're right. But...doesn't YeYu have a system too? Won't there be problems?"

[You could think for once. But no, that system is inferior. It is created by your writing, remember.]

"Oh, but...why can't you help me much while YeYu's system has better skill options?"

[YeYu's system, System 606, is a character cheat. You are just here to fix your own story.]

"Never mind, you keep repeating the same thing. Fix the plot. Fix this. Fix that. Tell me more practical things. Like how tf am I gonna get close to the main character without arising his extremely cautiousness.

[Not my problem. Host may take your time to figure things out. Hint for host, host may not be able to die but can still feel various suffering.]

"...sob."

[This world is stuck at 67% completion. Please raise your effort dear host.]

Dulu cried for a dramatic minute and then quickly stood up and ran towards the main lead. Since she couldn't die, why not hit the iron while it's hot or whatever. Right now, it seems like YeYu just finished his introduction with the system and familiarized himself.

"Excuse me, brother. If you stay here too long, the passing people will get angry. People like us need to keep a look out for each other."

Dulu hoped that YeYu could catch her hint.

[Host...you are not allowed to tell other's of your identity.]

Dulu responded, "I know. But I can pretend to be a transmigrator like YeYu. He won't know I am a the writer of this world or that he is a fictional character in a novel I've written."

While Dulu communicated to her system. YeYu was also asking his own system on Dulu's identity.

606: [There's not much on her. Her name is Dulu, a random beggar. Basically, cannon fodder.]

YeYu was skeptical as he replied: "Are you sure? Why does her torn-ragged clothing look like she's wearing modern pajama's of my world?"

606: [Look at the beggars at the alley over there. They're wearing oversized ragged shirts and pants too. The style that this cannon fodder is wearing just seems similar.]

YeYu didn't comment on 606's answer. He looked at Dulu's naive expression. Dulu was shamelessly holding onto YeYu's hand. Trying to get as much pity points as she could. Honestly, Dulu is an extremely easy person to read. Very dumb with an open face.

606: [You're not thinking of taking her with you, right?]

YeYu: "It won't harm me so why not?"

606: [Host...fine. Be warned, cannon fodder usually die early.]

YeYu: "Then let me help this young lady spend the end of her life in comfort."

System 606 was speechless. Dulu had always looked younger than her actual age. She attached herself to YeYu for then next month. YeYu kept his distance. Well, he tried to keep a distance from Dulu but was perplexed at how sticky this cannon fodder was. Dulu helped out in whatever she could help on. Sometimes there would be a weird, creepy expression on her face as Dulu imagined the perverted plots she wrote about YeYu. She was excited as she giggled under her breath.

Dulu's system which was named, QiuQiu, wanted to face palm it's nonexistent face. They were journeying towards the closest sect they could find. YeYu had a skill that lets him be able to absorb or digest anything he wanted. Basically, Dulu took a slimes abilities and wrote it as YeYu's skill. All for her perverted fantasies.

"Brother YeYu! Look! We can sell this herb to the Medicine Hall."

"...little sister, this...is a everyday ordinary grass."

"Ah. I meant this one!"

Dulu fixed her mess up and pointed at the plant next to the grass. Dulu had her limited skilled system and YeYu has his golden finger as well as a system with a map and friends list. So that means that anyone that YeYu have ever seen or spoke with is on the contacts bar.

Dulu with her small brain could only make up this kind of bullshit. Adding random gamer themes, cultivation settings, and a mash of a bunch of other things into her novels. So when the novels came to life, they could only end up in error as the plot was in chaos.

606: [You adopted a very dumb sibling but it's amusing how much luck she has.]

YeYu: "It's adoring. I like her as she is."

606: [How are you going to help her once we reach the sect? She doesn't look like she has any cultivation in that regular human body of hers.]

YeYu: "I'm sure I can make up an identity for her to come with me."

And lo and behold, Dulu had a talent in cultivation. Dulu was caught unexpected. She continued the entrance exam muddily. YeYu and 606 also found it illogical.

QiuQiu had answers for once: [Did you forget you are loved by the World Rules. This is because you're the writer of this world and the rules accommodate you. Helping you with your background and the extra small details about you. Your job is to keep the main character, the holy son of this world alive. Once YeYu died, this world will collapse.]

Dulu responded enthusiastically: "Oh! So when you said that I have to fix the plot. You meant I have to keep the plot from crashing and help this baby world-ling turn into a real world. I see now!"

YeYu touched his chin.

"I have a new opinion of you, dear sister."

"Heehee, I didn't think I was this talented. Don't worry brother YeYu, I will protect you from now on!"
