Later in the week, Izzie's at my house. We watch one of the many disturbing pastry murder videos that Beth sent me, since I broke up with Evan. In this one, Beth makes some delicious looking croissants, and finishes them off by smashing them with a hammer and screaming. She says that she will deliver them to me in the mail, and I'll get them soon. Izzie and I die laughing as we watch it. "Beth has been sending me pastry murder videos since Evan and I broke up." I tell her. Izzie laughs. "They look delicious." Izzie says. "Yeah, she's an amazing baker. She would be so pissed if she found out that you and I were, you know, hanging out." I say "hanging out" since I don't know what else to call it. "Hanging out?" Izzie asks, looking at me with a smile. I bite my lip and smile at her. "What are you twelve?" She asks, laughing. "Oh, shut up, what am I supposed to call it?" I ask. "Dating." She says. I look at her. "A couple." "A couple?" I ask, smiling. "Yeah." Izzie laughs. "Right?" She looks a little concerned. "Yeah." I reassure her. "Okay." We laugh, and she pulls me in for a lingering kiss.
Elsa talks me into going to a GSA (Gay-straight alliance) meeting at school, to figure out more about myself. I convince Izzie to come with me. We walk into the meeting hand in hand. "I can't believe I let you convince me to do this." She says. "Oh, It'll be fun. Or terrible, which is fun in it's own way." I tell her. A girl introduces us to everyone, and we all sit down in a circle of chairs. "I had boyfriends in the past, but once I got my first girlfriend, everything felt so much more, me." A girl in the middle of the circle explains. I see Izzie nodding. "I don't know if that makes sense." The girl in the middle says. "It does." Izzie says, smiling. Izzie relates to these people. She's happy here.
