Krishna then visited His uncle Akrura at his house with Balarama and Uddhava, Their cousin. Akrura received Them with care.
When They were seated, Akrura washed Their feet with scented water and offered Them cloth, flowers and sandalwood pulp. Then he sat at Krishna's feet and started to massage Krishna's feet.
Krishna said to Akrura, "Although you behave like My junior, you are so much senior to Me. You have pleased Me so much with your care and love."
Krishna asked Akrura to visit the Pandavas, Krishna's cousins, in Hastinapura, to find out how they were doing. They had lost their father, Pandu, when they were very young and were in the care of their uncle, the blind king Dhritarashtra.
Krishna said, "I know that Dhritarashtra is very fond of his sons, especially Duryodhana, who is very evil. If you meet the Pandavas, I will know how they are doing and then I will know how to help them."
