Chapter 4 - Accident

CRASH!!!!!!

When there was a blind spot, Ashley couldn't handle the wheel as she was driving fast and lost her control, their car crashed with another black car which was heading from the opposite direction.

Due to the sudden collision, the Red Ferrari tripped over and Alex was thrown out the car due to the sudden jerk.

He fell out of the car and his head hit a stone and he lost his senses for a while, then he shook his head and looked around him to look for Ashley.

"Help… Help" He heard someone shouting for help and when he looked in the direction of the sound, he saw the Red Ferrari which was tripped over.

Ashley was stuck on the car seat, her belt got stuck, due to which she was not able to come out. The broken glass shards of the car were piercing her.

"Ashley… Ashley, don't worry" Alex worriedly cried seeing her state.

"Alex… help me" Ashley begged him, her voice barely heard as she was wounded and hurt.

Her car was half on the road and half over the edge of the road that ended.

"I am coming, Ashley, hold on" Alex with a lot of effort managed to stand up and tried to walk but his leg was bleeding terribly due to him falling on the ground.

He tried to step closer to her but suddenly the Red Ferrari which was on the edge of the cliff lost its balance and fell in the water behind.

"ASHLEYYYYYYY!!!!" Alex loudly cried as he couldn't believe the car, their car just fell into the water from the cliff and Ashley's voice could no longer be heard. The whole car was gone.

"Ashley" Alex cried loudly, tears flowing from his eyes. Everything happened so suddenly he couldn't believe his life was so cruel to him.

His wife died, just a day after their marriage.

Alex collapsed on the ground, shouting loudly and cursing his bad luck, which now took away his wife.

Although he doesn't like her, he never wished for her to die.

Alex was crying cursing his fate when he heard another voice, whimpering in pain.

Hoping Ashley somehow managed to survive this blast, Alex looked around and saw some other woman asking for help.

Then he realized it was the woman in another Black car which collided with theirs.

With whatever energy was left in him, Alex slowly stepped towards the Black car which too tripped down and was leaking

He stepped towards that car, he couldn't see clearly how many people were there, but the front door was opened, he managed to figure out a woman was lying inside, she was making soft noises but her face was oozing of blood as the glass shards from the car hurt her face and she was bleeding.

"Oh god" Alex muttered seeing her state and he carefully helped her out of the car as he could see there is a chance of this car blasting.

If he is not careful in saving her, then she too might end up losing her life just like Ashley.

'I won't let another person die because of my incapability' He promised himself and he safely unbuckled her seat belt and carefully pulled her out.

He intentionally didn't look at her face, as it looked scary with blood oozing out of it as her face was damaged in this accident.

As soon as Alex pulled her out, the car blast in flames.

Luckily, they were safe, Alex checked her pulse and sighed in relief when he felt her pulse that at least she was alive.

On one hand he was feeling terrible as he lost his wife but on the other hand he was relieved this woman was alive as she can be his witness to inform the lawyers that this was genuinely an accident and he didn't plan it to kill Ashley as in the contract marriage they signed, it was clearly written if Ashley dies during the time they are married, then Alex would be the first suspect and he needs to be thoroughly interrogated.

He checked his pockets for his mobile as he needed to ask for help. This woman needed to be taken to the hospital immediately, her condition was clearly critical.

He too needs treatment but the woman lying on the ground needs it more than he does.

Alex found his phone, but it was broken, the glass was smashed and it was not working. So, he checked the woman's pockets for a phone and he found her ID card instead, before he could look at it, another vehicle approached there and in reflex he kept the ID in his pants pocket and waved his hand standing in the middle of the road.

The people who were passing from here could see the state as one car was on fire and two people were lying on the road.

They stopped their car to help them and called the nearest hospital for help.
