Ashley wanted to expand her business then she got information that in Geoje Island there is a Maple resort, Ji Hoon was the owner of the resort and he is in huge losses.
JI Hoon was an old man who was rejecting many proposals even though he was facing loss of money as he didn't wish his business to be taken over by some unethical people. He was looking for a business partner who is ethical, having principles and who preserves traditions.
When Ashley shows interest in his business he too wants to associate with her as he knows that she was bought by her grandpa and she is having all qualities he was searching for a business partner.
So Ji Hoon and Ashley already met a few times and the deal used to get postponed. Because of different opinions.
She couldn't understand how to handle this old man. With the advice of her grandpa she appointed Alex to lead the project.
After a week Ashley, Alex and Kate headed towards Geoje Island to crack the deal. Alex was excited as it was his first flight journey. They all are supposed to meet at the airport.
As it was Alex's first trip he had mixed feelings, he was happy and nervous at a time. He packed his bag and rushed to the airport so early that he didn't want to miss his flight. He reached two hours early and was thrilled by the ambience of the airport. He had few wishes and one of them was to have a cappuccino in the airport caffeine reading a book.
So he first went to purchase a book then he walked towards a café and ordered an American cappuccino. He looked around and found a place where he could sit and enjoy the premises. He was fulfilling his wish and enjoying the movement, after few minutes he heard a familiar voice and he turned to here where the conversation was:
"Why are you so late? I have not had my coffee till now waiting for you as it was your responsibility to be ready with my coffee" Ashley was shouting at Kate.
"Sorry ma'am due to personal reasons I am late, I will get your favorite coffee just now" Kate apologized and ran towards caffeine.
Alex was listening to everything quietly and felt pity on Kate as he is helpless that he can empathize with her situation and felt really bad for her.
"Is it my favorite coffee or like last time you have bought whatever is available" Ash had taunted Kate.
"No ma'am, I have bought your favorite drink Kate handed over her favorite, the maxim mocha gold coffee" she replied and was looking into the tab.
"What are our schedules for today?" Ash asked her while drinking a coffee and Kate was telling while looking into her tab. Alex felt pity on Kate as he thought to do something for her so he purchased a cappuccino.
"Good morning Ma'am" he wished Ashley first although he wanted to talk to Kate first but because he was an employee he had to follow certain protocol.
"Huh.." was Ashley's response.
He had expected this type of response from her, so he didn't mind the rudeness and went to sit beside Kate "hi Kate, good morning. Have this coffee, I hope you will like it" he handed over coffee to Kate.
"Thanks Alex, you don't need to do this but thanks once again" Kate took coffee She hesitantly looked towards Ashley.
"Have you taken an appointment at a spa this weekend?" Ashley asked Kate.
"Yes, Ma'am," she quietly replied.
Alex got angry at Kate as she was allowing Ashley to treat her like her servant. But he was suppressing his feelings.
As there was an announcement as Ashley was travelling in business class she went directly, while going she said to Kate that "we will meet outside the airport"
Kate replied "Ok ma'am, see you soon"
