Chapter 9 - 9. Again?!

Vivian got home safely and was greeted by a nice smell of food coming from the kitchen. The smell was nice and aromatic to the nose of hers. The puppy was roaming around the place, doing it's own thing as she went to the kitchen.

"What did you-"

"Vivian your home~ How was your walk?" Jennie spoke up but Vivian could feel a tint of unhappiness in her voice and she knew why...

"It was okay, nothing new and I know I will try to come home early next time okay~?" Vivian petted Jennie on the back and directed her to seat down at the dining table, so that they can eat.

"Your next times are never coming at all..."

"Hahah....it comes once in my lifetime. Anyways let's just eat my dear Jen~"

"Okay okay, do remember to feed the puppy." Vivian nodded her head, before she started eating, she went to get the puppy some dog food and water for it.

The puppy digged in, into its meal as Vivian sat back down and started to eat her dinner.

"Where did you get that ring from?" Jennie asked, seeing that Vivian wore a ring that she had never seen her wore before. Moreover, Vivian don't wear accessories often.

"Oh, some couple I met in the town gave it to me?" Hearing that from Vivian, Jennie almost choked on her food, coughing. Vivian looked at her with a eyebrow raised.

"What?"

"Y-your telling me that ring- A couple gave it to you?!" Vivian nodded her head, not knowing why it was shocking to Jennie. Though, she would agree that it's weird for some strangers to give her things.

"You know there's a saying, don't accept gifts from strangers..."

"I know, I did refuse but they still gave it to me." Jennie took Vivians hands and took a look at the ring. She examined the ring and nodded her head.

"I have never seen this ring before but it's really pretty and seems rare."

"I know..." Vivian pulled back her hand and continued eating her spaghetti. Jennie stared at Vivian and said nothing.

"Eat your food, otherwise it's mine." Vivian said, noticing that Jennie was staring at her. She even took a meatball from Jennie's plate and ate it.

"Hey!"

"Hmm?"

"You took my meatball!"

"I know~ you weren't eating and was staring at my beautiful face, so I took it as a payment." Jennie's mouth dropped hearing Vivians explanation on why she took her meatball.

"Payment just for looking at your face?"

"Mhmm."

"I think people might as well go blind like that." Jennie glared at her and continued eating her food as Vivian chuckled at her answer. 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒇𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒆𝒓~

"Well I'm done, I'll be in my room if you need me~" Vivian threw away the takeaway's box and container which the food was contained in, along with the disposable utensils. Wiping the area where she just ate.

"That's fast..."

"Well that's cause your slow."

"I'm not slow!" Jennie denied, furrowing her eyebrows and stared at Vivian. The stares lasted for at least a minute before Jennie looked away.

"Okay okay...you go and have a rest~" Jennie smiled with the spaghetti still in her mouth, making Vivian chuckle. She looked away from Jennie and walk back to room with the puppy that followed her and entered her room.

"Don't speak with your mouth open Jen-" Was the last thing she said before closing the door of her room. Vivian plopped onto her soft comfy bed and stared at the ceiling.

Her room didn't have anything much to look around at. It just had a big large window that she can stare out from, with a ledge that she can seat on. A study table besides the window and a bed at a corner of the square room, that had a small mini side table beside the bed.

In her room, there was even a small cushion and a beanbag chair that she oftenly seat and lay down on, when she has nothing to do and often taking pictures there. That was all the room has, nothing too much to expect.

"Damn Gavin, I have to see him tomorrow, oh well..." Vivian mumbled out, stretching out her air, looking like she was trying to reach for the ceiling but she stared at the ring on her finger. The moonlight that shone into her room, made the ring sparkle.

She smiled at the ring and took it off her finger, placing it onto the side table, gently. 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝑰 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚...𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒙𝒉𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈...

She yawned, rubbing her tired and sleepy eyes that can't seem to open any minute longer.

"Goodnight little one, rest well~" Vivian petted he puppy on it's head before closing her eyes and falling into her dreamland.

Vivian woke up, yawning and tried to adjust her eyes to the sunlight that was brightly shining through her window, like as if the sun was trying to blind her. 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒈𝒐 𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒅, 𝑰 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔-

She got out of bed and went to wash up and change into a hoodie and some jeans, she didn't have much dresses as she prefers wearing hoodies and jeans, well something that is just comfy to her.

"Morning puppy~" Vivian bent down and swooped up the puppy into her arms and brought it into the living room. She looked around for Jennie but it seemed like she wasn't home, 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒐?

Her eyes scanned the whole leaving room until her eyes caught something that was stuck to the fridge. She went over to the fridge, taking out a note that was sticking onto the fridge with a magnet and read it.

𝑺𝒐 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒇𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒖𝒑 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒆𝒇𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔...𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝑰 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑰'𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒇𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒕, 𝒃𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒚 𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒉. Vivian threw away the paper and went to get herself some milk from the fridge.

"I'm definitely not forgetting about you~" Vivian chuckled as she poured some dog food into the pet bowl with some water. She stroked the puppy and smiled as she drank her milk.

After Vivian was done, she washed the cup and wore her sneakers. She made sure she bought everything with her and left nothing behind. 𝑵𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅, 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔-

"I'll be back later maybe, now behave and don't make a mess, I love you little one~" Vivian ruffled the puppy one last time before she opened the door and headed off to Gavin's office.

"Come in..." Vivian entered into Gavins office and looked around the spacious area. She walked over to Gavin, who was reading some books calmly on his seat.

"Good afternoon Gavin~ So...why did you want me here for?"

"Write..."

"What...?"

"Write out 100 lines, 5 times for me." Vivian eyes widened, hearing that she had to write out lines for him again. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕...𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕 𝒔𝒐 100 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔 5 𝒊𝒔 500 𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔?!

"Don't tell me it's the same lines I wrote the other time..." Gavin quietly looked up from his book and stared at her, seems that he isn't joking.

"Again?! B-but why..."

"You didn't follow the rules set in Star Rise High properly." Vivian knew the rules but it was unbelievable that he had to be that harsh and not give her a chance. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆'𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍, 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒕...

"B-but..." With no words Gavin snapped his fingers and the same table and chair appeared beside his table. 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒆...

Vivian sighed, going over to seat down at the seat that was given to her and started writing out the lines in the early morning. 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓...

𝑼𝒈𝒉...𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈. Vivian stretched out her arms and glanced over at Gavin, who now was reading a different kind of book now.

She got up from her seat and walked over to Gavins table, staring at him.

"Gavin, it's so boring here...can you play with me?"

"No..."

"Then can you let me go back~?"

"Have you finished writing?" Gavin looked up from his book as Vivian shook her head.

"Then go and finish it."

"I don't wanna~ what can you do about it~?" Gavin was taken aback when Vivian suddenly teleported right in front of him, smiling.

"What are you doing." Vivian chuckled at his reaction, it seemed amusing to her as he stood up from his seat, not looking happy whatsoever.

"Huh?" 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝑰 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚? She tried moving but it was useless as a visible light ring was surrounding her body.

"What are doing to me Gavin."

"Shut it, you are being too carefree, bunny."

"Gavin!"

"Write another 100 lines for me..." 𝑾-𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕...𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒐𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔- Without any hesitation, he placed her back at where she should be at and sat back down on his seat.

"You can only move your right arm." Gavin looked back down at his book as Vivian stared at him. 𝑯𝒎𝒑𝒉, 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆...

"Fine..." Vivian gave in and started to write the lines for him, 𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒐𝒍𝒇 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. 𝑰 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒎, 𝒊𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒔...

The office soon became silent, the only thing that could be heard is the scribbling of words onto the paper from Vivian.

While Gavin on the other hand, who was looking at his book, looked up and glanced over at Vivian. Unknowingly, he gave a small smile before looking back down at his book. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝒈𝒐 𝒍𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒚 𝒃𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒅...
