Ahhh those poisonous plants are finally dying <3333.
Herbicide has never smelled more heavenly.
I pull out a cauldron, and I toss all the plants into it for boiling.
My crow vines are shaking.
"Darling I'm not going to burn you," I grumble. "This is for the concoction. You'll consume some of it to kill eventually,"
The vines shake.
"Oh calm down, the dosage isn't poisonous yet," I dunk the tip of the vine into the brew, and the vines' thorns turn black before going back to clear. "there."
I had never killed Bria in the end of the story. She was sent to Phoenicia to live with her husband, and her child. Terence escaped instead of being killed, and now I feel sick at the idea that I was partially the reason that Terence ended up dead. Which was why I was going to find the corpse and revive it.
Actually... I... I don't actually want to recover his body. I'm still that petty <333
It's not like I hate Bria... ok no I lied I definitely hate her lmao. Miss girl here won't sleep until I have her either dead of decaying.
Ah but that's too mean. I'm not supposed to be the villainess- no I can be whatever I want. I'm a witch at this point I can't get any more illegal than that.
Do I heal Bria-
My vines latch onto my skin, and I hum.
"I know," I smile. "I'm supposed to be making a healing concoction for Hades' wife."
The vines latch back onto the walls, and I finish the final bottle. Six bottles of poison. Just enough left to make seven healing brews.
"Vynnie keep the pot stable," I call the plants and walk out to grab a crystal petal.
The vines stabilize the cauldron, and I pluck a petal off the rose. I open the door again, and the vines grow back onto the walls. I've reached the peak of witchcore HAHAHAHAHAHA
The potion grows white, and I fill the remaining bottles with it.
Did I steal this plotline from Solo Leveling or something what is this holy water-
Or- sounds more like a wattpad thing to me.
I put them all except two into the box, and I make sure they won't break. "Vynnie let's go find Hades."
The vines open the door, and I grab the two potions that are out. Prince Hades's place isn't that far, and thanks to my vines, I travel faster than before. I'm at Hades's place before I can blink. I shift into a shadow, and I look for Hades. He's in the basement again.
"Hades," I shift in, and I stare at the dead priest. "Death."
Hades has an issue, the dark eats him up more the more he kills. And... I didn't think it'd happen this early. "Death..."
DEATH I KNOW YOU'RE NOT LIKE THIS. LOOK AT ME. DEEP BREATHS. I LOVE YOU YOU KNOW THIS ISN'T YOU-
Ok sorry that was my immediate first thought.
"Hades..." I stare at him. "Your wife is waiting for you, your brother is looking for you... don't leave us with so many regrets."
He doesn't flinch.
"Fall." My voice hardens, and I force death out of Hades' body with the shadow arts.
If I were in an action game I would get a [Player leveled up] notification or something. Haah. I catch Hades before he falls, and get him out from the basement.
"M-Master Hades!"
"Please get him into a room," I hand him over to a servant, and I stand. "I'll wait here in a guest room until he wakes. If he wakes up and seems abnormal at any point please call for me. You're going to have to trust me right now."
The servants look at one another, and then at the two bottles attached to my waist.
"One's a poison, one's a healing potion." I grin. "If you don't follow... I'll poison the mansion's water supply,"
The vines grow up behind me, and I pull the light from the mansion. For dramatic effect? yes. Absolutely for dramatic effect. I want to scare these men shitless.
The servants latch onto one another, and they nod. "We trust you!"
"It's like 5 am in the morning..." A child's voice speaks up. "Ah- Big sis Crysta."
I smile at the little boy and retract the vines and dark. "Are you alright?"
"I heard father fell ill again..."
"He'll be alright," I smile and crouch down. "I promise."
"You sure?"
"Yes darling," I smile. "Now please get back to bed before your dad kills me for waking you up at this unholy hour of the day."
The boy wanders back into his room, and I sense someone behind me.
"Hades."
"Thank you," The man pushes his hair back.
"If I had arrived any later then you would've been gone. Stop doing it all yourself" I stare at him. "The concoction for your wife is finished."
"This way," He leads me to his study, and he locks all of the servants out. "How many bottles?"
"One should be enough." I hand him a bottle, and he stares at the other one.
"The black one is poison." I point at the other one on my waist.
"How much?"
"Do you happen to have the brooch on the high priest?" I tilt my head. "It's one of the items I would like. The other happens to be one of your rare potions."
Hades stares at me. "I can grant you both. Which potion would you like?"
I stare at the vines, and they point at one of the rainbow ones.
"What does this do?"
"It's a combo of all of the more positive potions. Not good for offense but good for the person drinking it."
"Then the dark swirled one is the opposite?"
"Yes."
"I'll take that one for the vines. What about the priest's brooch?"
"Here," Hades opens a box, and he hands it to me. "Why do you need it?"
Why do I need it? Because it holds more magic than anything else in this world. I want to destroy the entire human race- I MEAN I want to help my crystal roses grow better... no I want the ability to kill everyone if I ever needed to that's why.
Nothing against the human race of course... just kidding! I hate everyone including myself <3
Hades stares at me while I'm in thought.
"Hey Crysta... do you think the potion will work?"
"If it doesn't then contact me. I'll be... searching for Bria these days." I mumble. That bitch is being let off the hook so easily I swearrrrrrr-
"If you kill her I'll take responsibility."
hAH?
"I'll just say that you killed her because she was causing trouble for you. She's been disowned by her family as well anyway, so it doesn't really matter." Hades shrugs.
Holy shit... Hades is a psychopath...
Wait I almost forgot. His entire family are borderline psychopaths.
Nothing new then.
