The car drove on, the two of them were sitting quietly for some time, before Soya asked, "Aren't you angry with me?" Nancy looked at her, with calmness in her eyes, and said, "He cannot die. As long as I am alive, he will have to live too. Whatever I'll have to do, I will bring him back, no matter what." Soya was a little taken aback by Nancy's statement. "You don't look like that, you are just an ordinary girl, right?" Soya asked her. Nancy just gave her a meek smile, "When all these things are happening to me, how can I be a normal girl?" She replied.
Lisa was still contemplating what had happened earlier in the day. She sat in front of her laptop and read every piece of information available on the internet related to the PSUIT device. Whatever happened to them throughout the year, be it their kidnapping, or the time when Nancy was brought back from the clutches of death, all these events were running inside her as she tried to connect them like the drops of rain crawling down her window pane. Her room was dark as it was getting darker outside, Lisa still couldn't believe what had happened to her earlier in the day. The Princess of time playing with the glass, encountering two Nancy's, and having dinner with an Avon who wasn't even hers, Lisa was slowly losing her mind.
She had to take calls from her dad and Gina as well. Just so that no one has to go through too much stress, she took Nancy's responsibility as well but now she herself was under a lot of pressure. After a while, Avon walked into the room and turned on the lights. He walked up to her and then sat beside her, and said, "Why are you so stressed? I'm the one who should be stressing right now, all I know is, I have a couple of months missing from my life. Or I have time-travelled to this timeline, but if that was the case my doppelganger would have been here. And I've checked, not once but twice and thrice, but I don't have any doppelgangers here.
