Jane continued to run with her footsteps still difficult. The pain was no longer felt by Jane because right now, all that was on her mind was how to get out of the place that had locked her up.
The sound of the alarm still sounded clear in Jane's ears, and she continued to run down the long hallway in the bright light.
"That's it! There's another way. I have to get there soon," Jane said breathlessly.
"Hey, you! Stop there! Hurry and catch her."
Suddenly two security guards were guarding the exit, for Jane to hurry to the car park.
One well-built officer was already holding Jane's shoulder. He was trying to prevent Jane from leaving the building.
"Miss, you better get back soon. There will be several teams that will help you," He said while looking at Jane's legs which were oozing more and more blood.
Jane stared intently at the man, his gaze so deep that she knew the officer was lying.
