LEANDRO
He narrowed his eyes at the books on the shelf that was just a few distances away from him.
With his aristocratic eyebrows knitted together, he tried to think of a reason for the new information that he had just found out.
"She has left now, my lord," Lord Emilio informed him as he entered again into the Royal Chancery.
Before Lord Emilio even closed the door, Leandro immediately asked, "Do you think Lady Aisha is the woman who intervened between me and the merchant?"
He couldn't believe that she was just inches away from him at that time. He should've listened to his hunches.
But then again, it was also his hunch to put her in the dungeon to keep her safe. But he failed. He heave out a sigh.
"We couldn't possibly know since the woman's body was well-hidden inside the huge cloak, your Majesty. She also speaks our language fluently," Lord Emilio responded in an analytical manner with his hands behind his back.
