"Tell him I'm not handing Octavia to him".
Draco was confused and felt he didn't hear him correctly.
What was he talking about?
"Master? He called, sounding so confused.
Khalid sighed and took more gulps from his drink.
"You heard me, Draco. Do I need to spell it out for you?" He asked lowly, but Draco still didn't move.
To him, he felt wasn't hearing correctly anymore.
Why would Khalid hold Octavia back against Zack's will? It just didn't make sense.
Zack had every rights to punish Octavia and Khalid holding her back was only going to be a cause for war.
Besides, he didn't expect Khalid would ever deny his closest friend of anything.
When Khalid didn't say any other thing he discovered his decision was final.
And taking a deep breath, he turned around and left.

Octavia sat on the floor while Mica sat in front of her on the bed.
They had been silent for a very long time after Octavia had narrated everything to her and she had yelled all she wanted.
And finally, they just sat quietly, staring at the floor.
"You need to find a way to escape, Octavia" Mica said at last, breaking the silence.
"No matter what, you just need to find a way to get out of here"
"But how?" Her voice shook a little.
Our secret route has been discovered and right now, we have n other means of leaving...
"Why didn't you just go far away, Octavia?" Mica scoffed.
"Why didn't you just go as far away as you could instead of coming here?"
"I was... scared" Octavia sniffed.
"The Master kept chasing me relentlessly and I was scared he was going to catch up with me no matter where I go. Besides...
I didn't really have much option of places to go. I... I had limited money, Mica. And l'd only have to steal everyday to be able to fend for myself".
"Goodness!" Mica rolled her eyes and stood up.
She placed her hands on her waist and started pacing tho and fro again.
She had to think of a better idea; come up with something so it doesn't affect her sister.
She couldn't bear watching her being transferred to Zack.
Never! It was going to ruin her as she knew Zack too well. She couldn't even imagine what he'd do to her to make her die.
She thought for a long time, but no excellent idea was popping into her head and in frustration, she grunted and plonked on the bed, dipping her fingers into her hair.
Shortly, there was a knock on the door and both of them flinched.
Oh, no!
Mica looked at Octavia and Octavia was
looking back at her.
"I... I thought you said evening?" She asked and Octavia nodded slowly.
That was what the Master had told her.
Mica stood up nervously and marched towards the door.
"Who's it?" She asked, so thankful her
nervousness wasn't reflecting in the tone of her voice.
"Open the door, Mica. It's Draco" the cold voice replied and Mica opened the door slowly.
He was alone.
"Draco" she called, sounding a bit relieved.
At least, since he was alone, she was sure he wasn't there to take Octavia.
"I have some news for you" he began.
"Well, goodnews".
Mica's brows creased.
Goodnews? What news could possibly good in a situation like this?
She watched him quietly, awaiting him to go on With the news.
You can tell your sister not to worry anymore. Master Khalid is not handing her over he stated and Mica almost lost her balance.
Octavia, who had been eavesdropping, stood up as well.
"Wait... what??" Mica mumbled.
"Wh... What're you talking about? I mean, why? What happened?"
"I don't know, Mica. He just asked me to pass the message to Zack, telling him he wasn't going to hand Octavia over"
Mica could hear her heart beating louder in her chest.
"Do you.. think they came to an agreement? Maybe, Zack decided to."
"You and I both know Master Zack would never come to such agreement, Mica" he cut her off and a brief silence stepped in.
"Whatever it is, I think Khalid is doing your sister a favor" he added and walked away.
Mica closed the door and turned around to face Octavia who was looking like a ghost.
She wasn't going to Zack? The Master was saving her?
Tears prickled her eyes as she stared at her sister.
"Mica.. " She called tearfully and fell into her arms.

Khalid walked out to the balcony with his phone ringing in his hand.
That was the fifth time he was calling and he finally decided to pick it up.
"Khalid" Zack called, anger evident in his voice.
"What message am I receiving, Khalid?Where's Octavia?"
Khalid put the call on speaker so he doesn't have to hold the phone while talking.
"I thought Draco was clear enough?" He asked calmly.
"I'm not handing her over, Zack. It's not necessary".
"Not necessary?" Zack scoffed, unable to believe his ears.
"Are you being serious here, Khalid? That b*tch killed two of my men - one of which was my brother!"
"She did what she did in self defense" his voice was cold, as usual.
"She was trying to save herself".
"Damn it, Khalid! She's mine! Her father sold her to me and she had no right to try to escape".
There was brief silence.
"I really don't get your point, Khalid. Stuff like this are usually non of your business. You should've handed her over by now. Why the f**k are you defending her?"
There was silence.
"Khalid..."
"She saved my life... Zack" he finally found something to say.
"Oh! To hell with that! She did what she did for her selfish reasons alone. First, she had risked your life by using the antidote on you. Secondly, she was only trying to save her @ss because she knew she'd be doomed if you were to die. Don't you get any of it, Khalid!! She doesn't care for anyone, but herself!!"
He spoke raucously and another round of silence came again.
"I'm sorry, Zack. But I've made my decision"
