Ark looks up in confusion.. "Er.. your items?.... My items were stolen too" the girl walks closer to Ark "were they wearing a cloak?" Ark proceeds to answer all of the questions that she has. "Well, I guess we are stuck in the same boat… Hi, my name is Emelia but you can call me "Em" For short!" Emelia reaches her hand out in front of ark trying to give him a handshake. "My name is Ark it's nice to meet you Em!" ark shakes Em's hand. Ark asks a simple question but he would have never guessed it would lead to him getting his first friend, "Should we try and find the person who stole our items." Em then blurts out "Yes! But first, we should add each other as friends in case one of us gets lost." ark opens his menu and adds Em as a friend and allows "player tracking". They both begin to search the city, they even tell a few players to be on the lookout.
(1 hour later) "Em come here I think I found the person" Em walks over to Ark and begins to spy on the suspect. 'Yup! That matches the person's description that the person gave us, let's follow them!!" The two begin to follow the suspect. They watch the suspect turn the corner and stop. "Hurry, let's confront them!" Ark blurts out and begins to rush at the suspect! Ark manages to pin the suspect to the ground. "Did you steal our items!?" Em asks while putting her hands on her hips."ehm… well…. Uh…. n-no I didn't ...." 'huh you sure? Then what's this!?" Em points to the thief's pocket where some Jules and one of Ark's hardened slime drops fell out of the suspect's pocket. 𝑑𝑎𝑚𝑛... 𝑖 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑒𝑓 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑎 𝑤𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑛. The expression on ark's face grows blank, He bends down so he is on eye level with the thief he begins to stare dead straight into the thief's eyes. "So why the hell did you steal our items and what's your name?" the thief's face grows worried. "I..my... Name is Adey... Uhm… I'm sorry, Basically, I was forced into a guild and they told me I need to give them money or else they were going to steal all of my items and I really don't want that to happen because see I have a pet chicken that's about to hatch and I need to take care of it! so please let me go!" "we are going to need to get our stuff back before you go but, why don't you just go do quests? They give good money?" Arks face looks as if he is questioning something. "Well…. You see…. I'm scared of the monsters in this game so that was the last thing I thought about." Ark asks if she wants to add him as a friend and he can help her with some quests, Adey accepts arks friend request and thanks him and gives back the items that she took from Em and Ark. "thank you for giving our stuff back, we will be on our way now, safe travels!" Ark and Em walk back to the main road waving goodbye to Adey.
"So Em, what do you want to do? We can go grab a coffee or maybe we could go do a quest or something" Ems blurts out that she wants to go get a coffee and chat a little bit. They begin to walk down the main road trying to find a shop that sells coffee but most of the shops they went to sold mostly beer or didn't sell coffee at all. They finally find a coffee shop that they can sit down and have a rest in. They walk into the shop and a worker welcomes them "Welcome to the shop you can have a seat over there" the old lady points to a seat for two in the corner of the store. Ark and Em both sit down where the lady told them to. The old lady slowly walks over to them, "You guys are such a cute couple, What can I get for you today?"
Ems face grows beet red and begins to get really embarrassed she hides her face in the food menu that the lady gave them. Arks face grows beet red as well. Ark very nervously responds ".....I'm… sorry.. But.. we aren't a… uh… we aren't a couple". Oh my bad you guys looked like one so i figured i would compliment you two" Ems face grows an even Brighter shade of red. Em and Ark both order a coffee.
"So is it hot in here or is it just me?" Ark responds telling her that it was probably just the coffee shop(It was definitely her that was hot, the coffee shop had a fan blowing cool air so there is no way the Coffee shop would be hot). (25 minutes later ) "how old are you Ark? Ark responds " I'm twenty-two, how old are you?" "Really!? I'm twenty-two as well! "So Ark how's your life outside of the game?" asking questions like these are typically forbidden but Ark answered anyway. "It's pretty rough.. Ever since my father died his debt got passed down onto me…. And it's a struggle having to pay the bills and pay for food for me and my sister when you are in debt… But I recently won the jackpot on the lottery but… The people I owe debt to beat me up and took my ticket... " Arks expression on his face grows depressed, Em gets out of the chair and goes over to Ark and gives him a hug. "I am so sorry that that happened to you.. I really am. How about we meet up in real life and have a beer or something?" Ark accepts and gives Em his phone number. "Well I'm sorry but I have to go, my sister is going to be home from school soon" That's fine, I have to go as well, as soon as I log off I will message you!. "Yeah, that will be perfect, see you later!" see you! Em and ark both wave each other goodbye, 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑖 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑎 𝑐𝑟𝑢𝑠ℎ... Ark begins to smile. "God's gate Log out!"
