The next morning was the first day of the winter holidays. Aaric, Alleyn and Elijah as well, everybody was gathered around except for George who was still unable to come over.
"Why did you just directly killed him?" It was Alleyn who questioned Aaric with a deep frown on his face.
Elijah was silent as he knew that after all this Aaric had complete reasons to act on his own. If not him then Elder Smith was of course going to kill Colin any moment. It was just that if not today then tomorrow, but Colin's fate was already pre decided.
Aaric shrugged his shoulders as he took a sip from his wine glass and said casually.
"I got all the information which I wanted from him. What other reasons do I need to let him keep alive?"
Aaric's straight and casual answer made Alleyn surprised for a brief moment but he did not spoke anything further but still he had some doubts. Elijah placed his glass on the table and asked in a low voice.
