Soon after waiting for a couple of minutes as Jace had expected, two other black jeeps filled with a number of goons arrived at the gate. Immediately the whole area was on guard. Searching through every corner and around, the men were spread into each corner of the warehouse. Jace and jackline were still hiding in the corner. Jackline was naturally a bit scared of the consequences that were about to come, they were clearly two standing against about hundreds of men carrying guns.
Jace was not able to see her face so he did not know what she was thinking, however, from inside he was able to understand how she must be feeling right now.
"You don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you. At worst, you might need to carry me towards our jeep parked ahead otherwise nothing is going to happen."
