Chapter 1 - Fated Encounter 1

Vines covered the stone-built buildings and the concrete-paved roads, which now had so many twists and turns that it was difficult to see where they led. However, not a single dead body is to be found on the streets, no birds or animals roaming around the ground or skies, and no stench of decaying bodies can be smelled.

In the midst of that ruined area, there stands two people. One of them which wanted to know more about their situation, but the other refused to answer their question.

"Hey, tell me the truth. Who am I, exactly!?" A man made entirely of light yelled at a 12-foot woman hoovering a few inches from the ground. Her bright blue and green hair is cut short and falls at the nape of her neck. She's wearing a light blue gown with yellow trim, blue arm cuffs, and yellow slippers to match. She also wears a crown with two colors on it. The crown is shaped in a design that resembles the sun, with an orange tint on the left side, and a pattern that resembles the moon on the right side with a dark blue color scheme.

"Please forgive me. You know that I cannot tell you that." Her tone sounded like something a wise man who had hundreds of the same encounters would say.

"At the very least, tell me where I am!" Even though you couldn't see his face, the young man looked like he was ready to cry and give up if this answer cannot be answered.

"I am in not at liberty to tell you that as well.-" He got on all fours with his head, ready to cry any minute. "-That being said, I can guide you to a location where all of you're questions can be answered. And if you so desire it, you can achieve anything you want, whether it's ruling everything under the stars, having all the riches at your fingertips, or becoming the strongest in the world."

She immediately twirled her staff, generating a pillar of light covering the man made of light.

"What does that mean?" inquired the befuddled young man to the blue-haired lady.

"Don't worry, I'll give you a present..." However, the young man remained perplexed as he saw some of his body disappearing and began hammering on the pillar of light and screamed; "What the hell is going on!? What are you going to do with me!? Hey! At the very least, answer my questions! Heeyyyyy!!!"

You could see a worried and scared expression on his faceless body, because of the way he spoke and acted.

His body and the pillar of light have both vanished. Why did he chose you?" She murmured to herself, clearly pissed.

[Eight years later]

Trirath Island is a little island Hamlet in the middle of the world's immense ocean. In this tranquil neighborhood, a young child who appears to be no more than eight years old, almost looks like a doll as he is standing along the river, calmly, waiting, watching, without making a single noise.

A sudden gust of wind blew the four strands of hair that acted as the eight year old kids bangs above his head, his long grey hair that had faded to jet black was also blown by breeze wind. His loose white blouse, which is far too big for him is flapping in the breeze, yet his tight slacks and boots are untethered, and the grip on his spear did not loosen.

There was something unusual about the spear that you wouldn't find in other regular old spears. The only thing that was normal about it was its long shaft; the rest of its parts were unique. It had a spear tip that served as both a hook for latching onto its fish and other animals, and a sharp metal tip for piercing through their skin and flesh. It also has a wooden loop on the bottom of the spear that is tied by a rope, which is tied to a tree.

A wave of water erupted a few meters away from the eight-year-old child, yet he wasn't alarmed in the least.

As he noticed the ripple in the water, he smiled. "At long last, you've arrived,-" He gripped his spear and pulled it up to his ear, parallel to the ground. He then prepares his footing by assuming a martial arts T stance.

When he saw the second ripple, which was much larger than the first one, he immediately began running to gain speed before throwing the spear above the ripple. "-Too easy."

A fish that's 20 feet long, 10 inches wide, with long and slender jaw equipped with sharp teeth and small needles like bone all over it's body, except the fin, leaped out from the water in a dolphin-like fashion, holding many small dead fishes in it's mouth.

The speared pierce the fish through the bottom of its mouth, through the bone and flesh, and then through the brain, killing it instantly.

"Let's take a look at what I've got." Said the young boy as he pulls on the rope toward him, dragging the caught fish along the water, just as if he was climbing a mountain.

When the entire body of the long fish was dragged from the water and onto land, the young boy was overjoyed, as he finally caught a rare fish.

"Yes! It's a Needle Fish. To think that something this rare would be so easy to catch. It's understandable given that I am the strongest person on the planet." He openly extols himself.

"But how am I going to get the spear out?" He pondered as he cuffed his hand on his chin.

'Maybe I can, no... What if I, no... How about I, not that either... Should I just do that, that won't work either...-' He thought to himself as he examined the entire Needle Fish body for ways to remove the spear from it's body. Unfortunately, he was unable to find a way.

'-I will just let them deal with it.' He heard a loud cry deeper into the forest as he was untying the rope from the tree. The cry resembled that of a baby animal, so of course the kid wasn't going to sit around doing nothing. After untying the rope from the tree, he rushed to see what was making the noise as the fish was being dragged along the ground.

As he ran deeper into the forest, the crying noise became increasingly louder, until it reached a climax where it was practically next to him.

There was a layer of bush in front of the child and the crying baby. The eight-year-old rushes toward the bush, seeing two people and two animals on the other side.

The first person he saw was a small child about two inches shorter than him, with white haired dreadlocks, blue eyes, and brown skin. He wears a red oni mask that only covers the bottom half of his face, white and black sune-ate, red tight pants, and a white, black, and red kimono. He also has a japanese katana strapped to his left.

After seeing the eight-year-old kid appear out of nowhere in the bush, the brown-skinned boy immediately went to grip his sword. "Who are you?" Said the boy, clutching his sword, ready to uncheave it at any moment.

When the eight-year-old boy looked around to see who was crying, he discovered a baby bear covered in scratches and bruises. "Who am I? Of course, I am the king of this world. Who are you to hurt my subject?" He said this as he set the needle fish down and walked in front of the baby bear, shielding it from any dangers that may come its way.

"Oh.. you're one of those weirdos with a god complex. Doesn't matter who you believe yourself to be get out of my way that's my food." He said as he uncheaved his blade and pointed it at the eight-year-old boy.

"Over my dead body." The eight-year-old smiled as he assumed a fighting stance, but the kid who challenged him did not attack right away. He looked behind himself to the female who stood a few steps away from both of the young boys, motioning for a signal. She gave him a light nod that was a go ahead signal to the brown-skinned boy.

The female has a pale complexion and large, compound-like eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient blue, making her eyes appear similar to that of the sky. She has shoulder-length black hair that she styled in a A-line bob haircut, and her bang obscure her right eyes, starting from the left side of her hair, and flowing all the way down to her right side of her hair until they connect to the rest of her hair. She has a dragon ear wrap earing that is only on her right ear. She also has a black and white jacket that matches her tabi socks and hakama pants, tucked into a yellow star shaped Kyahan. Over her clothes, she wears a black Haori with the same patter and color as her Kyahan, and a large seven inch katana that she place on her right.

The brown-skinned boy immediately looked at the child guarding the baby bear before flashing a huge smile of excitement that revealed all of his teeth. "You're going to regret that."
