Inside the small room, Gong Wu was laying on his side staring over at the door while hoping it would open soon but something else had been bugging him.
'My body has been changing as if it's still metamorphosing what the hell is going on!?'
Gong Wu used his inner vision and studied his body more closely this time and was surprised by what he had noticed.
His marrow had become a golden soup and his blood Qi was now like heavy mercury slowly flowing through his veins like a thick paste.
His meridians have also changed becoming wider and thicker.
It also appears the structure of the meridians has changed.
They now intertwined with his musculature reinforcing his body's structure and no doubt boosting his physical strength.
Gong Wu could also see his organs have been altered as well.
His skin was now very different, every cell was now covered in a protective layer of collagen creating an exoskeleton surrounding his enhanced muscle mass.
All of Gong Wu's muscles had been augmented.
This included his tendons, ligaments, and even the cardiac muscles.
Gong Wu also saw that the smooth muscles surrounding the organs have grown stronger.
This would explain why his internal organs feel like they sifted.
'But why had all this happened?'
Gong Wu could only assume it was because his special constitution was mutating but into what he still couldn't be sure.
'Well, at least it's an improvement.'
However, He had to admit he could feel his strength rising at a constant rate and it seemed to show no signs of stopping.
This didn't matter too much to Gong Wu. He wasn't too concerned over his body changing right now.
All that mattered was getting out of the Coiling Dragon Temple without dying. He will not die again he'd make this life the last one. Gong Wu has resolved to survive no matter what.
*Rumble*
'Huh? what's going on!?'
The walls began to shake like crazy then the room slowly melted but somehow Gong Wu wasn't affected in the slightest.
He was shaking or melting which made him realize this was just an illusion.
'It must be the Dao of Illusions I've heard of it but from what I know there are very few trained in the illusionary arts who could be doing this!?'
Gong Wu stood his ground and remained steady in the face of this crappy illusion.
That was until the room began to vaporize turning into rainbow-colored clouds.
'Wait what! this feeling it can't be the Dao of Illusions but what is it!?'
Gong Wu tried moving but like an astronaut floating in space, he drifted around unable to control the direction he went to.
That's when it hit Gong Wu, he figured out what power this was.
'The Dao of Dreams God dammit this one is even more difficult to deal with than the Dao of Illusions!'
Dreams were a metaphysical concept because of this understanding them and becoming them are extremely difficult for a cultivator to do.
This was why so few people cultivated the Dao of Dreams. Only geniuses could comprehend and use such abilities to control dreams themselves.
There was also another issue with this Dao and that was the mental instability it caused.
Who knew how many lost their minds and became lost in the dream domain never to reappear again.
How could Gong Wu fight against such a tricky opponent!?
