My party is coming up in just a few days. My Father has taken over most of my chores for the time being. It is tradition in our village, that the Father gives mother and daughter time off of our chores for our coming of age ceremony. Since I do not have a mother currently, Deadra is taking over the spot.
She has been sewing me a dress. I have helped out with the hems. But mainly I am the dummy wearing the dress, while she pokes me with needles. She is an amazing seamstress. Her original home was in a place called New York. She says she was a fairly decent dress designer there. She was on her way from the Bahamas to the Horseshoe bay. She was suppose to design a dress for one of the royals.
