I was so afraid of what Brenton would think of me. I knew he would be upset. But would he leave me? All I could do was be honest. I told him all the gory details, from my side of what exactly happened. I did not leave out anything.
Brenton was furious! However, when I was done telling him, he grabbed me and pulled me in close. He sat there cuddling me for several minutes. "This was not your fault my love. It was Emmy who left you. He never should have taken you in the first place. He was just being playful I know. But he dam near cost me everything. He is young and has to learn. I will teach him well. But first you and I are going to make up for this. I will not be working for the next couple of weeks. I need as much time with you as I can get. That is if your okay with that?"
I giggled, "Okay? Of course! I am okay with more time with my husband. I am so thankful you do not seem to be mad at me. I was so worried!"
