The newcomer had stayed in his cabin for several hours after his near death experience. He was covered in urine. His cabin stunk of it. He knew he needed to get to shore. He needed to clean his cabin out. It also would not hurt him to restock on some of his supplies. The village had been gracious enough to provide him with thirty days' worth of food and water. However, if he found any of his companions, he would need a complete stock.
There was still room in the storage below the boat that the villagers had made him. If he was to go to shore, he could gather his wits. Maybe he could even do some hunting. He knew he would need some meat for the trip. The only problem being he did not know how to hunt, or how to cook said meat.
