(Eren's pov.)
In the year 843, the colossal titan appeared. In that very moment we knew, our home was a pen, humanity cattle. Shiganshina had fallen. We were doomed. I ran towards my home to see it was demolished, and my mother stuck underneath all of the debris of the house. Me and mikasa tried, but failed, to get her from underneath all of it. Then right before my eyes I saw my mother get Eaten by a titan. I screamed but knew I couldn't stop the beast. Right then and there I decided I will kill every titan that crosses my path, big or small, huge or tiny, I don't give a damn.
Everyone was forced to retreat to wall Maria. Most of the boats were crowded some people were eaten by titans that came through the hole in the wall of Shiganshina that the armored titan created. I watched as they screamed with dead eyes. My friends eyes were dead too, we were all broken.
(I don't really remember what all happened in the first episode sooooo, I'm sorry guys. This is all I can remember, it's been a while since I watched season one. Enjoy the rest of the book!)
