Dr. Intelligent knew the macaroni center was not a safe place to be. He heard people yelling and throwing things at the guards. The center was being robbed of its macaroni. News reporters were taking pictures of sold-out macaroni restaurants and shops. People threw garbage at James Evion's guards as they left. Dr. Intelligent could barely hear his own voice from the noises the crowd was making.
"Mac Boy, let's get out of here, it's going to be insane in just a few minutes. That restaurant we just went to is being robbed of its macaroni." Dr. Intelligent pointed out.
"OH MY MACARONI! These people are insane." Mac Boy jogged towards the car.
Vrrrrrrm! Dr. Intelligent stepped on the gas pedal of the car. He backed the car out of the parking lot that was crowded with cars. The robots started to shake as he backed out little by little. Something is wrong with the car, he thought, but he needed to get out of there.
The parking lot was completely filled with people rushing in to buy macaroni at its original price. Dr. Intelligent had to stop every few seconds to check for people behind the car to make his way out.
"Finally, you drive really slow." Mac Boy said.
"Shush! This car's robot locking system isn't that strong and I have to be careful." Dr. Intelligent slid his sleeve up and clicked a few buttons on his wrist.
"Bzzzz, Whack, Ding!" The car broke itself down and turned back into a bunch of mini robots. They followed Mac Boy and Dr. Intelligent. He opened the door and froze. The apartment had a smell of concrete and dust. Everything was gone. There were only the last bit of robot parts left of his room. Dr. Intelligent could taste the dust in the air. Mac Boy walked in and froze right next to him. On the door was a pink piece of paper.
Department of James Evion Housing. EVICTION NOTICE: You are hereby required to vacate.
"Holy macaroni! I thought you were so much richer with all your robotics and stuff!" Mac Boy said.
"My life, my whole life, he's taken everything." Dr. Intelligent stomped his leg on the floor. All my robots are gone, how am I going to save the city if I can't even save myself, he thought?
"Are these parts of an engine?" Mac Boy picked up what was left on the floor.
"Don't touch that."
"Hold up! This looks like the faceplate of the drone I wrecked a couple of days ago."
"Just stay there!" Dr. Intelligent yelled. He worried it would have to take a miracle to recover from this.
"We've lost everything! James Evion has done it and I can't believe it. I won't be able to keep my powers, you won't be able to even keep your apartment!" Mac Boy walked in circles.
Beep beep. The robots sat on the dusty ground, hunched over.
Dr. Intelligent looked at them and sighed. The robots were just as sad as he was. He looked around and could only think about how empty the room was. James Evion was truly unbeatable.
"Yes buddy, we've lost."
