Chapter 1 - Prologue

Prologue: Lucia and Ciaran

---

A brawl that even Lucia can't stop... Where did she go wrong? How did all of this happen?

"Light! Our Light! Please go to a safer place now!" said Lovetti, one of Lucia's deities. Her children, disciples, rulers have come to help her escape and fight those enemies, but those enemies turn out to be her children who turn their backs at her.

She yearns for peace... "Why must you do this, Ciaran?", she pleaded and sought for an answer, but never had any in return.

'Why...? I took care of them because they're my child... but why must Ciaran do this to me?' she thought after she scanned the very first planet she had been created getting destroyed.

She's the most powerful being in or out of the universe, she never wanted to hurt anyone of her child but punishes them whenever they have done anything that can harm each other.

Her children who are still burning her first planet are still proceeding and doing what they want, what is she going to do?

A certain being who can surpass who she is right now flies towards her, "Do you remember things now, Lucia?" he asks, wanting to hear the answer that he too, has sought for.

"Ciaran..." she cried, then extended her arms trying to reach Ciaran's face, but before she even touched him, he avoided his face not wanting to be touched.

"I'm asking you; do you remember what you did?" he grieved, clenching his fist to endure what's to come.

Lucia took a step close to Ciaran, "Can you stop destroying this planet and talk calmly?" she pleaded and pleaded, trying to calm him down.

Ciaran answered with a scoff, "After all the things that you have done, can you still call yourself as our "creator", if you can't even remember it?"

She's puzzled, very puzzled by what Ciaran is saying. 'Are you joking right now?' is what she wanted to tell him, but no one will ever dare to spout nonsense in the middle of war where a lot of certain beings are going back from the first phase.

The puzzled and angry look on her face intrigued Ciaran, "Do you remember now? Is that why you have that kind of expression because you've got your memories back?" he mocked.

"You know that I never wanted to hurt any of you," She explained but Ciaran's face is what astounded her, "W-Why do you—"

He talks in the middle of their conversation and cuts her words off, "Never wanted to hurt any of us? You must be out of your mind, Lucia!"

'After abandoning us, you're saying you never wanted to hurt any one of us?!' his mind was enraged, not wanting to talk to her anymore but then again, he wanted to hear her answer. He was about to tell her something but he restrained himself from saying anything, his veins can be seen because of the restraint he's doing.

Lucia noticed what Ciaran just did, "What is it that you're so eager to tell me... can you just tell me, Ci?" she called his nickname where she only did whenever she misses him and asks for his love and affection. He flinched by her calm and loving voice that he had never heard again after his rebellion for centuries.

Centuries? No, it was way more than that— they even lost count after a millennium passed. Ciaran was deeply hurt that his heart can't be entered by a light anymore. It only has... darkness.

With Lucia's voice, there seems to be a crack with the seal that he made for himself to only feel grief, anger and all negative energies. Her word is like a piece of rock that slid onto the glass that made it cracked but hasn't had a chance to shatter it.

Ciaran turned his head to Lucia who was standing on the place where their most important memories were engraved. The image of calm clouds, wet grass, the running animals from different breeds and even certain beings in one place, not minding any problem and just like that memory, a part of memory she can't remember.

He wanted to reminisce more about the scene and to look over the images and ask questions but, why would he do a kind of thing that he knows would only hurt him? But despite the thought, the ego and pride still won over his thoughts.

"You don't remember it, huh..." he mumbled, not trying to make it obvious that this light of the universe and who gave them their origin can't remember important matters.

A loud laugh of Ciaran circulates over that place; not minding his troops who are still burning and destroying half of her planet, he laughs with pain, amazement and regret.

"You expect me to believe that you forgot why I became like this?" he roared. He doesn't know what he's going to do anymore, his mind is clouded by darkness.

Lucia's face has tears; seeking for answers, wanting to reconcile to the man in front of him but she can't seem to go further.

'I only need to take 10 steps— no, I only need to use magic to fly towards him but the dark magic that has enveloped his body, mind and soul might lead him to finally turn his back on me if I did.' Lucia's fright widens because of that thought; she never felt this kind of panic and dread if it wasn't Ciaran.

Making up her mind she decided not to, but with the look of Ciaran's face is what makes her not mind the boundaries that she just thought of.

She slightly took a step towards Ciaran, "Please, enlighten me..." she cried.

"We must put an end to this, Lucia. If you try not to kill me, you will be killed." he stated. He knew that he can't ever kill Lucia with his power but doing the process and making her go mad by his actions would be enough to lead to her death.

Ciaran took a step backward and sprinted to Lucia who was not prepared and astounded by his actions.

Lucia's closest companion who wasn't very far from where she was, rushed in front of her to take the blow that Ciaran had prepared for just a short time. Ciaran was taken aback but still continued, 'This much won't be enough to put him to deep slumber, I know Lucia was going to use her power,' or so he thought.

Keeyon flew a kilometer back because of the blow that he received, "Keeyon!" she shouted then teleported to where Keeyon is.

Lucia was filled with worry and pain because of the image of her subordinate.

The sadness that she never wanted to trigger has reached its limits, 'If my child won't stop hurting themselves, then I must make a move to do it.'.

With just a snap of her fingers, Lucia the creator of the universe once again showed her power that she never wanted for her children to witness again. Ciaran sent a message to Lucia's mind and soul to stop what she's trying to do. The normal Lucia will be mad and furious whenever Ciaran is sending her a message through telepathy but he received nothing.

Ciaran's huge, black and beautiful wings that contradicts Lucia's light unfolded. He tried to fly but he noticed that something was prohibiting him from taking off.

The root and veins that came from the land was the one, it's tugging him down as if it was Lucia who was saying not to try to get close to her.

"No... No!" he shouted, the sound of his wings flapping through the air can be heard, he was like a bird in a cage, begging his owner to let him out. He used any kind of magic just to get off the veins but any of those never succeeded.

Keeyon also raises his hands, trying to reach for Lucia who now is like the sun, emitting the warmth and comfort for everyone by letting out her light so the war that she can't stop earlier would finally end, "Oh Light..." he called before entering the deep slumber.

Not only Keeyon but a lot of her disciples had called her name and tried to reach her to stop her from what she's doing, but all of them failed.

The soul from Lucia's current body came out... 'What a beautiful scene,' Ciaran thought. The white, pure soul that only few of them can see went to Ciaran, it almost seems like her soul knows where she needs to go.

Not long after that, Ciaran can feel himself getting sleepy, added by the war that happened between them, he tried to keep himself awake but failed eventually. After he fell asleep, a color white soul was tarnished with black which represents the darkness that has been living inside him.

The two souls were now dancing in glee, happiness of reconciling, meeting one another like it's been forever since the last time they've seen each other. They flew around the universe, trying to find a suitable planet that could give them a wonderful beginning of their journey.

"We're going to meet again when the time comes, my children." Lucia said to her children who are now sleeping but can still hear what she just said, a beautiful sentence and words that came from their creator has brought them tears even when they already entered the deep slumber.

The souls have found the suitable body where their journey will begin.

About the deep slumber:

The deities only die if Lucia decides to end their lives when a certain time comes because some deities can't die on their own will. In some cases, deities can choose two (2) options, the first is they want to go back to the first phase where they have to use a human kid's body with 5-10 years old and they will also have to use a bit of their power because the body can't withstand an enormous amount of magic power, although the body are stronger than human's but being a deity with a natural mana within them means that body is still not enough to exhaust it. A lot of deities don't want to go back to their first phase because they have to cultivate their human bodies so they can use their remaining powers which are automatically sealed when they enter that phase.

The second is they will have to die and incarnate as a human or as the other beings. It could be an alien, animal, grass, mountains, etc.
