Petro is in his office, staring hard at the papers scattered all over his desk. For hours straight, he's been sitting there, caught up in his plotting mind. It's now 2am and Alexa and Phillip must be sleeping, because the annoying noises have stopped.
Petro is upset.
Not because of their constant noise at night; he understands that they are learning children who wants experience sexually before getting out of here. What he's upset about, is his daughter's closeness with the boy.
'They have feelings for each other.' His brain mocks and he scoffs.
Yes, he overheard. Would he be the perfect antagonist of the story if he didn't? And, it was also around 6 in the evening. No one was sleeping yet. Phillip went too early to confront her. Petro maybe would've missed the conversation if it was later. It's angering him the more he thinks about Alexa being infatuated with someone, while he's training her to be the perfect killer.
Otherwise from all that, he's glad he heard. Damn blind bat softening up his little girl, opening her up to the world of those ridiculous feelings and ruining his plans for her. Who does Phillipeño Romero thinks he is?!
Petro is livid. He taught every student, both his and his brother's, that their purpose is his will, they should follow his every command, but maybe he should've carved it into their thick skulls.
Enraged, Petro flies from his seat and slaps every document from his desk, watching them disperse lightly on the polished floor; a vein pulsates in his forehead and when he narrows his eyes, the corners crinkle. Hold on, just wait...they'll graduate soon. April is just around the corner and his plan will commence.
It will.
He comes to an agreement with himself: bear their antics for these few days, it'll all be worth it in the end. Let them do whatever they want...yes, he at least owes it to the girl. Alexa, the one he's hoping to recreate into his child--he at least owes it to her because at the end of this, she'll be back to square one. She'll be broken again. She'll be like the twelve year old he picked up off the streets, and he's going to nurture her and let her believe she only needs him. He wants to be her saviour forever.
No one is going to expect what Petro has planned.
He's a selfish man and you guessed it, this is all for his benefit only. He's not heartless, he's just self-absorbed and he most definitely knows that what he's planning is risky and wrong in so many ways, but it's his foundation and he does what he wants. He promises himself that after everything blows over, he'll give Alexa the life he forgot to give his daughter.
Never once has he thought that his plan might backfire. Never one has he thought about whether his plan is bound to bloom or ruin him. Petro is confident. Too confident.
Alexa wants to go to highschool after she graduates. He's not fond of that, but he doesn't know whether it'll be a bother to his plans or not. If it is, he'll just figure something out.
He's going to focus on what to do about the lovebirds now.
