"Hi Ms. Basil! I'm looking for mystery books today. Do you happen to know a good one?"
"Why hello Claudia! Mystery, hmโฆ there are two series that I think you'll like. "Nancy Drew" and "Hardy Boys". You can never go wrong with them!" Ms. Basil paused for a moment and eyed Claudia suspiciously "But may I ask why you're looking for mystery? You've never seemed interested in those things."
Claudia started to say "Well after the kidnap yesterday, wellโฆ well I thought that Iโฆ" but she stopped herself. Claudia started stammering realizing that what she was about to say was ridiculous and no one would believe her.
"I-thought-that-I-could-read-some-more-mystery! Plus you always tell me to branch out. Who knows? I might be reading Sci-Fi next," Suddenly Claudia realized that she had done it. She had actually lied to one of her most trusted friends. She turned red from embarrassment. Had she really just done that? Had she really lied? Is this case so important that I lie now? Why? She asked herself, but she knew why.
Ms. Basil knew Claudia too well, and was suspicious, but she decided not to poke around her any further. So she decided to watch from afar.
Claudia got tired, she knew she couldn't keep all this information in her head. So she returned the books back to the shelf and went home. That night she couldn't sleep, she kept thinking about those poor kids. She eventually dozed off into a deep sleep.

Claudia woke up the next morning with a start. She went back to her notebook and looked over the details
Twins were kidnapped on June 06, 2016.
Names: Isabella and Charlotte
Ages: 6, 6
Family: Miller
Status: Not found
Clues: None
Why: no idea
She looked at the list again. Then she tried to find a connection between the clues. There had to be something. Something suddenly clicked in her mind. She read it over and over again. How could she not see this? Most things had to do with the number 6! She updated her journal.

She felt very proud of herself, but it didn't last for long when a sudden realization struck her. Even if I get clues from online, it won't be enough. It's not like the police will share EVERY single detail to the press. Plus police have more authority to get more info. She slouched back in her chair feeling defeated.

Several days passed by and Claudia hadn't touched her notebook since that day. She gave up reading mysteries and went back to reading fantasy. Ms. Basil noticed the sudden change in her behaviour and wished she could help the poor thing. She knew it had to do with that case on TV. So she decided to add some mystery/fantasy books to the fantasy section. The next day she waited for Claudia to come, but noticed she never did, and she didn't for the next two weeks. Ms. Basil didn't know what had happened. Claudia loved reading, and would come here everyday for hours just sitting in the chair reading, but now she hadn't even shown up once for a few weeks.
