Chapter 3
It has been two hours and Xexino is prepared to fight. He has his metal armor on and he is on his horse. Xexino is just about to reach the village. Ah, I can't believe we got here so fast riding on a horse is so much easier. Xexino spots the goblins and shouts over there! They all rush off their horses and make a break for the village. As soon as they enter the village the goblins notice them all Xexino sees are bodies upon bodies he almost throws up in his helmet. Guys, we have to calm down and take care of the goblins! Yes, I had almost forgotten... we are here on a mission... We have to save the village. Xexino starts to get nauseated. XEXINO HOLD IT TOGETHER DONT SCREW THIS UP LIKE USUAL! Yeah! xexino replies nausea starts to go away. A group of goblins Incoming! Someone yells they all pull out their swords the sound of metal clinging against wood starts to ring across the village. The goblins are trying to taunt us hah don't underestimate us you stupid goblins. Everyone in the battalion Including Xexino starts to rush at the goblins. The goblins look as if there happy sparing with us. The strongest in the battalion Judas. Judas may be the strongest but he will betray anyone if it means he gains from it. Athena, is the brains of the battalion but her weaknesses were that she lacked compassion, she was too ruled by intellect, and was out of touch with emotions. Apollo loves music, he loves to sing he basically loves anything musical. His only downsides are He was too quick to anger and easily spited and yet despite his good looks he has horrible luck with the women. Boreas is amazing with wind magic often times he is referred to as a wonderful magic user who could probably duel with the gods, although he isn't really that strong. Boreas has only downsides where he is too full of himself and Deimos. Deimos is scary in fact he is the scariest in all of the battalions even some squad commanders are scared of him.
He could easily scare off anyone and anything if he wanted. Deimos his only weaknesses are he thinks he can get anything he wants with fear and terror. He could though if he really wanted I bet oh and he is strong it's kinda scary but Judas is way stronger. and then theirs me Xexinos. I'm good at nothing I'm weak and I'm pathetic. "shiiiiiing" the sound of a sword cutting something. Xexino looks and it's Judas slicing a goblins head off. As the head flies up into the air it lands right in front of xexino. Its lifeless face the blood drooling out from its neck all over the floor. The blood oozes to xexinos feet. Xexino looks down and back up there's a goblin rushing at him he puts his sword up as if he's ready for a fight the goblin charges at him Xexino has barely enough time to dodge. he dodges although his dodge was sloppy is will manage. he turns around and swings his sword at the goblin. He was just barely able to slice it. It charges at him again this time it clings on to his armor. Xexino doesn't know what to do he tries to rip it off but it is at a blind spot. He cant do anything about the goblin xexino tries to think of how to get it off while the goblin is ripping at his neck. Xexino is fine for now he has a chain mail suit on that will protect him for only a short while. Ching... Ching.... Ching... the chain mail suit he has on beneath his armor its durability is starting to fade. He is still trying to grab it off he is trying to do anything to get it off. Ching... Ching.... Ching... The chain mail neckpiece broke xexinos neck is now visible if the goblin is fast and strong enough it has the chance to kill Xexino. The goblin reaches his hand out to deal the final blow. Everything goes black.
"Fwoosh" "aagh". the sound of a bloody sword hitting metal. The goblin was dead as soon as the goblin scratched xexinos throat xexino had turned his blade around and pushed in as if he was trying to kill himself with his own sword he cut a hole through the goblin.
The goblin was dead. A feeling of Relief went across Xexinos body. He was saved only by his armor and his armor alone. He swings his sword around and flicks the goblin's lifeless bloody body of his sword. He looks at the others there doing all the work. I was only able to take down a single goblin. And I was hurt doing it. My neck was slashed by the goblin but right before it was able to kill me I killed it. He raps his neck in bandages and observes the others. There look to be only 6 goblins left Xexino pays his attention to Judas first. Judas was sprinting at a goblin and he slashes its left lung so it is unable to breathe and then he cuts its head off before the goblin gets to comprehend what's happening. Athena, she looks to be reading a book while fighting. She keeps dogging the goblin while she reads then she flips to the last page and drops the book. she stops on the goblin then she cuts a hole through it, Apollo. Apollo looks to be singing a song while dueling with a goblin. when is song is finished he asks "well did you like it?" the goblin looks frustrated. Well, I guess you didn't hmph I worked really hard on that song you know that! you know what the only way ill forgive you is death. As he says this he stabs the goblin dealing an instant death than theirs Deimos. Deimos looks to be fighting with two goblins. He lets out a mighty roar. The goblins look to be praying to survive they look scared. Deimos walks over to the still praying goblins and picks them up one by one and ripping them apart. Finally, all the goblins are dead. Good work everyone Judas yells let's head back to HQ and report what happened before nightfall.
