By the time Theo got back into the village .. everything had been cleared and the ground which had obtained a cleft .. healed ...
he then watched as the repairs were being done by the other guards ..
although the village wasn't harmed in any way ... when the Disciples used their trump card ... not only had they used up all of their powers but they even used the village's too ... getting it straight from the two statues ...
causing the village to lose its energy supply ...
aside from all that ... Theo and his captain made their way towards the mansion ..
after Theo complained about having a bad feeling about this whole mission .. captain Rose couldn't let him down ... she allowed him to go and meet with the leader but with her on his side .. to prevent him from saying or doing things that might cause hatred to swell in the hearts of the Disciples and the Elder Brother ...
when the two arrived before the mansion ... the huge door opened wide enough for two people to pass through ...
"I sense that you are disturbed in your heart young man .. come in and relieve your worries .." the leader said in a booming voice ..
the two walked inside the mansion whilst looking on the right and the left side ..
despite being hurt ... the Disciples got back to their positions after getting a little bit of their energy back ...
although it wasn't much .. it was enough for them to at least survive a week without getting tired ...
they looked dead .. but behind them were tiny threads like tubes .. coming from the floor that would pulsate with blue cold energy ... transfering it through the thin tubes to their bodies to rejuvenate their strength and mental strength to the peak ...
when the two got close to the leader ... captain Rose bowed down .. in respect to the leader ...
"Please .. be at ease and raise your head ..." the leader said .. as he ignored Theo's attitude ..
"Ahem ... forgive my intrusion ... but this is a matter that needs your attention and honesty ... " Theo said ...
"Fret not young man ... I'll be honest ... this must be important for you to come looking for me .. I will not turn you down
.." the leader said with a smile ...
"Okay .. this is about the event that had occured a while ago ... this is not regarding the attack but the creatures themselves ... I noticed from the start of the battle that they weren't even aiming for you ... or anyone else in the field ... and to show that ... they played with your guards and Disciples ... they even played with your caged power ... and even though you killed the members of the horde ... they didn't even have the guts or perhaps .. they did not have the intention of killing anyone ... their bloodlust and killing intent was just them telling us to back off ... and beside that ... despite what the Disciples sacrificed to kill their bosses .. the half dead ones continued to approach the gate like they were looking for something valuable to them ... " Theo said narrowing his eyes to see if there were any types of reactions from the leader ...
"I made my calculations and hypothesis ... that they were looking for the mammoth .. but then I realised that ... they didn't even have a fixed attention on the beast .. rather ... their senses went beyond the cage .. and went inside the village .. by that time .. I didn't have the audacity to track their senses so I joined in the fray to prevent any massacre and overkilling .... story in short ... I have deduced a lot of things but I couldn't come to the answer I needed .. so I came here to seek that answer ... " the leader looked at Theo and sighed with a bright smile ...
"Have you ever heard of Core Eggs ... young man ..??" Theo tilted his head to the side in confusion ..
"Core Eggs ... Core Eggs ... from where could I have heard this term ..." captain Rose muttered under her breath as her index finger found its way towards her lips .
"Core Eggs ... are like cores from where creatures get their energy from ... or you could say .. Core Eggs are like where creatures get to create their first emblems ... Core Eggs have multiple uses ... "
"And so .. the Core Eggs ... do you have them .. ?? are the Core Eggs with you ..?? Core Eggs originating from the homeland of the creatures we just killed today ..??" Theo asked ... trying to get the gist of the things that the leader had just mentioned ...
"Yes ... but I unfortunately am not in possession of the Core Eggs ... that crazy man ... is the one how has them .. " the leader said ..
from the two words .. he said .. Theo guessed that the crazy man was the Elder Brother ...
"So what is its use .. for him now .. besides being helpful to the creatures ...??" he asked again ... as he looked the leader with an intense stare ..
"He mentioned something about building a Core Wall ..??" the leader replied ...
Theo took a moment to analyze and assimilate the words uttered by the leader ...
"If I'm correct .. this Core Wall ... was a plan to construct a wall that was made out of these Core Eggs ... to repel the creatures ... and this must've been his plan for a long time ... but tell me something .. if you had already known about such a thing .. why wait ... why not build this Core Wall immediately .. ??? " the leader glanced at him and closed his eyes ..
"You must've already found this by yourself ... our kind cannot use outside powers ... even if they are similar to our ours ... our genes are only compatible with the Frost Element .. not ice ... and all the Core Eggs he had gathered are mostly derived from demonic origins .. holy origins ... flame and so forth ... he has tried so much to infuse his own artificial genes into the Core Eggs to create this wall .. but no good results came from his tests ... even from the most closest elements that were in the family tree of the Frost Element ... but even so ... he never gave up ... he tried abducting outsiders into the village to infuse their own artificial genes ... into the Core Eggs .. and the only thing he got was a single reaction ... and this Core Wall .. has a much complex use than we had thought ... I don't know his motives .. but I know that whatever's going to come out of that wall's creation is an abomination ... also .. every Core Egg he forced an infusion ... crumbled to dust and made its origins and it's creatures die ... sigh ... our deal has been made ... you can take the mammoth as your own creature from now on ... but make sure to tame it so that it cannot attack my people ... but your mission still needs completion so I hope to receive victory ..." the leader said ..
the more he spoke .. the more Theo understood things with a much different view ...
he checked a couple of routes to take in order to get the answer he needed .. but to no avail ...
but even so ... the information the leader gave him was more than enough ...
and he was even more thankful for the mammoth ...
with a sigh .. he left with the captain. ... and went to where they kept the cage ...
a person he had never seen before was standing away from the cage ... like Disciple 3 ...
he then clapped his hands twice .. and formed a huge barrier in blue ..
"The leader told me that you're now the owner of the Blood Mammoth ... you now have every right to I obtain it without restrictions ... but do it quickly .. I'm on a tight schedule .." the person said ..
he was wearing a black robe with a picture of a faceless man depicted on his back ..
an illusionary black snow flake hovered on his back beautifully ...
and unlike the other people .. this man's hair was pure black ..
his eyes were even pure black themselves whilst his skin remained pale and his expression indifferent ..
on top of his eyebrow .. was a birthmark of a snow flake .. but when Theo moved his eyes ... the snow flake would shift and turn as if like it was living ...
"Hurry up and get in ..!!" the man said hurriedly ..
although Theo was not scared of him ... he reminded himself that he could not offend someone that never offended him .. or rather .. he could not offend someone that couldn't be offended at any costs ..
he knew from first glance that .. this man's aura was more the leaders but on a much different side ..
the leader and this person were like the sun and the moon ...
and from his energy signature .. he could tell that they were both at the same strength ...
'Is the village divided into two factions ..??' he thought as he stepped inside the area looking at the black cage ..
when he looked back .. he suddenly saw .. a huge blue barrier manifested with him inside alongside the cage ...
he sighed in defeat and returned his gaze towards the cage ..
at that moment ... the cage dissolved into black liquid and hardened into the form of a human sized black snow flake ...
the snow flake then flew away from the creature and through the barrier into the man's body ..
'So ... only the black frost .. could trap frost resistant creatures .. hmm ... ' he thought with understanding before looking at the magnificent creature infront of him...
