every step he took never even made contact with the earth .. he informed her to do the same so that no one would follow them and probably get in danger because of them ..
and of course .. she did her best by staying up high on the tree branches .. with light steps as if she were performing some sort of a footwork technique ..
her steps barely made any sound ... her hair flying behind her ..
'Captain Rose I've just arrived at a dead end .. ' Theo informed and immediately Rose went down to the ground as she ran flawlessly off of it as if like she wasn't even running ..

Theo then walked upwards a few steps since he was in a hole that was supposed to be filled with water ...
the ground which he had struck fell apart opening up or revealing some sort of an underground passageway ... or maybe it was just a hole ..
'Captain Rose ... I found something .. think I should approach this matter .. or should I wait for you ..??'

'Okay ...' he then jumped into the hole without even worrying about anything .. even if worry was nonexistent .. he was far too calm and too collected ...

infront of him slept a giant silverish serpent ... it's body was even bigger for it not to fit inside the hole he came from ..
'Maybe it dug a new one ..??' he thought to himself because .. in his mind .. the hole that he came from was dug from a much smaller one compared to the monster in his sight ...
and every now and then it would release a soft breeze from its nostrils breathing heavily from its sleep ..
he took a step forward ... and it echoed .. second step .. third step ... once he was at least 3 metres from the thing infront of him he tried to size it up very perfectly to figure out what it specialised in ...
it had dark black eye lids with a few silver lines running down from its head down to its eyes ..
and most surprising was that .. it had small six legs ... one pair of one's as big as he was if he stood straight ...
a pair in the middle only smaller than the two in the front ...
one last pair ... dark black .. with scales and rocky pointy bones sticking out from its knees ...
hideous with silver claws .. bigger than the two in the front ..
and instantly Theo used an appraisal skill on the beast infront of him ..

as if waiting for information to fill up his head .. the snake's eyes opened up like a mighty beast waking up from hibernation being disturbed by another something ..
it's hind legs woke up and rose up its nails digging deep inside the ground causing the other small and big holes close up instantly ... sealing off the lights coming from outside above ...
Theo stood there without any movements ... just looking at the large snake infront of him ...
fear never even struck him ... he took a stance whilst it looked away ...
although they had not put much information in the description ... Theo had already summed everything up ...
although the snake couldn't use any ability related techniques .. it could still protect itself and it's territory by creating small thin invisible energy lines ... all stuck out from this end to that end ..
not only was this type of reptile smart but it was also a great strategist ..
however .. since Theo knew so much about it yet it knew nothing about him .. he was already on the advantageous side ...
and since all the light was now blocked by a lump of dirt .. it was now pitch black with only silver eyes glowing ...
Theo knew that above ground .. the snake was not more than a little snake inside an egg .. so he really felt as if like he was going to have fun ...
and since it's defences were so indestructible he wasn't going to hold back ..
he wasn't confident in beating and defeating the snake .. however ... he was confident in stalling for enough time for captain Rose arrive at his rescue ...
he then cleared his mind before walking his mind through everything he had learnt about the monsters from here .. although a few of the creatures he still remembers from his memories resemble the beasts here .. these ones were like a weaker version of the ones in his world ..
'Its weak spot is underneath it's jaw .. it's blind and weak in the sun ... it's very strong in very dark places ... the only thing I'll be worrying about is the tail .. and the two hind legs ...
and finally I have to make sure that I use my energy to sense out all of its threads so that I don't start moving according to its plans ... I don't want to stay tangled in its predicament ... *sigh* .. I guess captain Rose will be able to know where I am a little bit later since the communication earpiece does not work underground .. ' Theo cursed at his stupidity inwardly ...
he brandished his giant sword with golden lightning running around his whole body ... the lightning creating some sort of a repellent barrier ...
each an every energy thread suddenly vibrated by the sudden power .. and immediately the snake hissed and turned its attention to where the energy threads first picked a vibration ...
and there it saw an outline .. of human in goldish aura surrounding his inner red aura ...
it hissed once more before standing up on its other legs sending a simple tail whack for Theo ...

the two mighty forces collided causing a massive shockwave to spread out from the underground to the surface causing an uproar inside the village ...
'What a strike ..!!!' Theo inwardly exclaimed after his lightning barrier dissipated into particles ...
without any warning the snake then sending its tail at him again ..
it pierced through the air making air cutting sounds echo inside the underground lair ...
theo dodge at the last minute as he side stepped to the right and leaping into the air to avoid the impact ..
whilst in mid air he swung his Lage sword and enveloped it with golden lightning ... and since it was fused with a bone whip it detached a few parts before striking the snake where it's eyes were meant to be ...
however .. as the attack collided the snake closed its eyes and blocked the incoming ones with its tail before whipping at him .. and this time much faster than before ...
however just like it .. Theo dodged it's attack as he landed on the walls and started running throwing at the snake barrages of attacks supported by the golden hue and energy ...
empowering each attack he made .. but alas all of his efforts were all in vain ... his attacks either bounced off or deflected ...
he himself had gotten so annoyed by the fact that it's defence far surpassed that of the minotaur ...
of course he had a solution for every situation he was in .. well if he had experienced it first hand ..
he landed on the ground 15 metres away from it ..
however in lieu of running up to him .. it's legs retracted back into its body ..
causing crunching sounds of bones snapping ..
Theo staggered back a bit before regaining his balance and posture as he looked at the snake hatefully ..

the snake slithered across the underground lair towards Theo at great speed .. it's sharp tongue out .. razor sharp teeth sticking out from its mouth like fangs ..
'I've had it with you ..' Theo then. held his dagger up in the air as a transparent aura enveloped it from its tip up to its hilt ...
he then leapt into the air running up the lair ceiling his daggers aura getting more and more intense ..
right at the right time .. he executed his attack jumping off from the ceiling causing a massive hole to create as the rocks crumbled down back inside the lair .. blinding the snake ...
