When they saw this they immediately readied their weapons but by the time they were in their battle mode commander Britt had told them to retreat as this horde would overwhelm them .. they ran as fast as they can even changing routes taking different ones to mislead the horde but to their disappointment the horde kept running behind and it seemed like they would soon reach them before they even reach the other teams which were too far away from them .. "Commander they're gaining on us .. what do we do? we can't just keep running .. they'll eventually catch up to us .." she gritted her teeth after hearing Timothy said this even making her stop in her tracks and looked at the horde that was at least 5 miles away from them .. a giant scifi bow materialized into her hands with a few arrows on her bag in their bag .. her chest piece started glowing dark blue lightning that went from her chest to her palms and lastly to the bow and the arrows .. and immediately after the electric energy reached the arrows and the bow they reacted by glowing with a blue hue causing the atmosphere to turn hot ..
She shot out two arrows at the horde erasing five minitaurs as they enveloped them with a burning explosion .. "What are you standing there for .. help me out and get out some long range weapons .. " everyone didn't hesitate and summoned their weapons .. Roy was the quickest one out of them all taking out a giant laser canon holding it onto his shoulder shooting yellow beams surrounded by light blue streaks of lightning killing three minitaurs and injuring a few in the first blow .. followed by Timothy with scific crossbow that had a little oversized arrows .. and surprisingly they shrunk to fit into the crossbow and he shot out one arrow .. when it reached the horde it suddenly expanded in size and flew at the horde at lightning speed with white electric streaks .. the arrow then detached itself into four arrows hitting four minitaurs on the forehead instantly killing them on the spot .. and soon laser beams that shot out from ray guns enveloped the area .. with debris rising from the ground .. making the scene look a bit heroic ..
The horde didn't seem to decrease infact it looked like the minitaurs coming after the ones they killed were a little bit bigger and stronger and this made their attacks more weaker .. the others kept shooting out their weapons not realising the strength of the minitaurs coming .. and from commander Britt's side a minitaur jumped high in the air heading for her .. and when the others saw this they instantly got distracted as they turned their weapons aiming at the minitaur but alas they too slow .. and soon a few minitaurs jumped at them as well with their sharp razor teeth out and blood seeping from their gums ..
*whoosh*
Just when they gave up their lives to the minitaurs extraordinary boney arrows pierced each minitaur in the head .. and when the heavy bodies fell the others saw the unbelievable scene that was happening infront of them as the minitaurs that were rushing at them were getting a shower of medium sized boney arrows piercing each into the head .. when they looked to their left Theo held a large boney arrows with strange marks on it .. each arrow he held in his hand enveloped itself into a red energy before shooting out to the minitaurs .. but their eyes couldn't keep up with the speed he was shooting out and retrieving the arrows .. and just as they thought about retrieving the arrows .. the arrows which pierced through the minitaurs levitated into the air and flew into Theo's hands before he shot them out retrieving the other arrows that had hit the other minitaurs infront of them ..
And honestly to them they didn't know if there was anything they could do to stop the minitaurs because the horde was quickly decreasing until only one last minitaur two times bigger than the minitaurs Theo had killed earlier .. emerged from the bushes and rushed at Theo with great speed despite its heavy body and extra vines for arms ..
Theo kept shooting at it but this didn't stop it from rushing at him .. although the minitaur kept running at him it was still in pain and it found it hard to even break the boney arrows as it only took them out and trashed them to the floor .. and soon enough it was upon Theo .. just like before the others raised their weapons but suddenly Theo had disappeared from his spot and appeared right behind the minitaur but only a few metres away from it .. "What are you doing standing there and looking .. let's help him .." Rose suddenly blurted out with a worried face with sweat running on her forehead .. but a hand blocked her path .. "What are you doing commander he will die .. can't you see the size of that thing .. it's power level is one level above mine .. " she tried to break through but Roy held her back a bit .. "Wait captain Rose can't you see .. look at him I think he can kill it .." although. Roy was bulky he knew the strength of a captain and specifically he knew Rose's strength and literally he knew he couldn't even stand up to it if she was against him .. Rose kicked him in the stomach and ran at Theo from a distance ..
Suddenly after she moved the minitaur turned its head and looked at Theo before rushing at him and this time Theo didn't move but stood there with a bone whip in his hands .. "Theo get out of there ..!!" she immediately panicked seeing Theo standing there with his whip in his hands not moving at all and she assumed that he was a little bit frightened .. and before she could reach him the minitaur clashed into him with its giant pointy horns thrusting in Theo's spot .. "Theo !!!" her heart stopped beating for a moment and her eyes widened with a tear falling down her cheek .. when she looked at the dust clearing she fell down on her knees and covered her face with her hands and cried ..
*Groan*
She then lifted her head up her eyes immediately turning to the hands holding the horns in place with a whip in the other hand .. "Theo .." she then looked at him with bright eyes .. Theo then put his strength into his hands and pushed the minitaur a few metres away from him causing it to stumble
*ROAR!!!*
It balanced it's stance digging it's three fingered hands into the ground .. it rushed at him again leaving the spot it once stood on cratered .. it threw a punch exactly to his face and the extra vines like hands thrusted forward too making it to be at an advantage .. .. just then Theo swung the whip for the extra vines slicing them completely from its body .. with his other hand he threw out a punch of his own .. seeing this the minitaur narrowed it's eyes and slightly cracked a smile .. when the fists collided a shock wave was sent throughout the whole forest even causing trees to blow off direction .. when the other teams felt the shockwave they suddenly became cautious "What was that ..?!" they kept asking each other ..
Meanwhile in the inner part of the forest the shockwave had sent Rose flying into a tree immediately surprising the commander to how such a young boy could hold such power and against a level above second Forerunner Rank at that ..
Roy and the others couldn't help but acknowledge the fight and the strength in both Theo and the minitaur ..
Theo felt a slippery touch crawling up his body .. and soon the vines covered his whole body leaving nothing but the minitaur standing there with a creepy grin on its face .. "Uhh!!" Timothy gasped when he saw this and the others watched with their eyes widened ..
Just then a hand crept out of the small lines from the vines hitting the minitaur exactly into the face causing the vines to be ripped off from its side .. it flew off into a tree and then into another one and another one and another until it finally stopped .. it roared loudly causing the other teams to be more cautious than before .. it then went on all of its fours with its horns sticking out into Theo's direction who was busy taking off the vines on his body .. 'Damn that's disgusting .. I thought they were just normal vines .. no strings attached .. gosh' he thought wiping his slippery mouth .. a galloping noise started shaking the spot and area they were in .. and when they looked at where the noise was coming from .. they saw the minitaur charging at Theo ..
With his whip he swung it towards its arm catching it on its wrist .. and after that he pulled the whip causing the minitaur to crash into the loamy soil with dirt flowing into its mouth .. he swung the whip with strength guiding it into a large tree not far away from the team .. the minitaur went flying into the air crashing on the bottom part of the tree making a dent appear from behind .. to show how the tree was strong ..
*Groan*
The minitaur kept shaking it's head as if it was dizzy and out of balance .. *whoosh* the whip slashed through its arm boring a hole into its muscles *ROAR!!* it stood up again and moved its body out of the way to avoid the next strike coming for it .. the minitaur then for the first time became cautious and narrowed it's eyes at Theo ..
