Coming back from the lake with the two young women that are beginning to grow on her, Farida felt like her old self once again. The lake was beautiful; the water seems divine on her skin washing away all her stress. Saying her good bye to Kalaje and Aladeje, she walked the short distance to the chieftain's compound with a smile and an obvious bounce to her step.
'Welcome back.' Wuloma said mockingly from beside Farida. 'Good you have decided to grace the household with your presence and I daresay it is foolish of you.'
Farida's smile dropped as she slowly turned to the ever-annoying voice of Wuloma. 'What do you want? I thought I made myself as clear as day to stay away from me.'
'Bless my soul!' Wuloma exclaimed sweetly. 'I just thought to remind you to stay away from people's belonging but apparently it is too late.'
'Look Wuloma, I have no time for your nonsense today.' As Farida spoke, she moved away from the annoying woman.
