Chapter 3 - Chapter Two

-Why Linda didn't wait for me, do you have any idea what happened a while ago?

"Well, you were late, and I wanted to go to the toilet, I'm not angry," Lynn replied, looking at me with a dog's gaze, I couldn't be angry with her when she looked at me like that.

-Good, but wait for me next time!

-Okay, now tell me, what happened?

-Well ..- I started and of course I was interrupted.

-Come on, I'm curious - I rolled my eyes, it was a habit to interrupt me.

-If you shut up and listen, I'll tell you.

-I'm listening well-he was looking at me expecting something spectacular, he laughed and I quickly told the story of the new director.

-Very weird guy-I finished, and she was looking at me like I always killed someone.

-Are you crazy, Anna, why did you talk to him like that, what if you get in trouble now, what if he doesn't let you into the competition or worse, he can pick on you or exclude you.

-Hey, Lynn calm the ball, nothing will happen - I reassured her, although I myself was not sure of my words, I had not thought about the consequences of my actions.

"He looks like a good man ..." he added, and she laughed.

"Becker, you're a freak, but I love you." I laughed

- I love you too.

-Let's go smoking and then go to class - I nodded and went out into the university yard, sat on a nearby bench and lit a cigarette. For a moment I stared at the principal's window, I wish I hadn't done it. Our new director and my lady in Biology were pushing each other, horror. Since when have they been together? At one point, Lynn pushed me slightly, which made me look at her.

-What? -I asked her as I smoked a cigarette and threw it away.

"Where were you looking?" Asked the young lady, "I want to know everything."

"Me? Nowhere!" I hurried to answer.

She laughed at my reaction, my gaze stopped on a boy of about 20, black hair, his eyes were so dark that he could barely be seen with a slight brown tinge, he was about a meter and eighty ... I thought he was quite tall compared to me, I was a dozen and twenty from the ground.

-Ah, let the representative Charles Blake, he is with us in fiction and biology, this is his first year here.-Lynn hurried to explain to me, as I looked at them both dully.

"Yeah, well, I'm Anna," he introduced himself, and he looked at me strangely, and a slightly frightening smile appeared on his face.

-Linn, isn't it time we went in?

-Yes, yes, now I have only a little left.

-Come on, we'll be late and Mr. Junkins will look down on us!

"All right, let's go, Charles, let's go in." She dropped her cigarette and we got up from the bench. We went inside and headed for the hall, luckily we arrived just in time, sat down and the hour began. I felt that someone was watching me, which was a big shit, I looked around and of course my gaze stopped on the boy from a while ago, there was something in him, I didn't like him very much. I turned and continued to listen to the lesson. And so hour after hour, it was finally time to go home. Of course, Charles kept following us, and Lynn liked that. But I didn't like this stranger dragging after us, as I said, there was something rotten in him, and it was only a matter of time before I knew what it was. That's why I agreed to go out with him and Lynn at a bar tonight. By the time I realized we had reached the front door, I unlocked it and my friend literally pushed me to get inside because she was peeing again. I laughed and lay down on the couch. My stomach twitched, reminding me to eat something, but I was so tired of getting up. It wasn't until my curiosity came out that I picked it up.

"Lynn, my love, you know how much I love you," I began, looking at her darling.

-What do you want, my boredom?

-I'm hungry..

-Why don't you make your own refrigerator is two steps away - he frowned at me.

-I'm bored..please do something ..

-Ah, you're very lazy Ann- we both laughed- What do you want to eat?

-Am..I don't know what you did - I shrugged and she went to the kitchen.

After an hour I smelled delicious chicken bites, I immediately got up and went to her.

-Mmm-my leagues almost flowed, she laughed.

-And you got up anyway, at least make a salad- he ordered me.

-Okay, I'll make dessert too- my eyes and veins lit up. Linda was a sweet maniac, she could last months without food, but she couldn't last five minutes without him, and they were many. I made chocolate mousse and we set the table. We ate, washed afterwards, and sat down to watch a movie. After three hours of arguing and frowning over which of the two actors was sexier, it was time to get ready because we had an hour before Charles showed up. Wondering how he knows where we live? "Well, my annoyance allowed him to send us and even gave him his number, he seemed to like it. I wore black clean jeans that were slightly torn at the knees and my favorite blouse, which was given to me by Alexander Rubik with his autograph on it. I smiled at the memory of the first concert of my life, and it was exactly his. Linda and I were just finishing tenth grade, and exactly five minutes after the party we had with the class, Lin and I ran to catch the last bus to the harbor where the famous Rubik sang and played his magic violin. I was so excited that I completely forgot to call Mrs. Becker to warn her that I would be more than late in the evening. Of course, the lecture of my foster parents and the punishment did not escape me. I was punished for a whole month to clean the pool in our backyard, but it was worth it. The fact that I was able to see him, touch his music, talk to him and get his autographed T-shirt made me happy.

-Echo, echo, Anne, the ground is calling Anne- Lin was waving a hand in front of my face trying to get my attention.

"Ah? Yes? I'm here, tell me."

-Where's that dress from your father?

-I don't know, somewhere in the chest why?

-Because you will wear it.

-Linda, you know I don't wear dresses, I don't feel comfortable in them.

-Well, today you will wear it for me- he said and started searching in my chest and whoever found her stood in front of me with a mean smile.

"Dress her," he waved in front of me. It was red at the neckline and had lace with small black balls.

Arguing with my best friend turned out to be completely pointless because five minutes later I was wearing it, it was a little above the knees.

"Now let's choose your heels," he clapped his hands.

- You didn't know here, I'll wear red sneakers.

"Oh, well, let's go down. Charm is downstairs." He clapped his hands happily and picked up his bag.

"Does he have a nickname?"

-Of course, come on-pulled me. When we went downstairs, Charles was leaning against a black Audi waiting for us, and when he saw us, he smiled, greeted us, and got in the car. Lynn climbed in front of him, and I sat in the back seats. All the way I listened to them chatting and looking out the window. An hour later the car stopped in front of a large building, I think its walls were marble, gray in color, there were two large windows through which almost nothing was visible.

"Well, girls, are you ready for an unforgettable night?" Charles asked, and Lynn showed a bright smile.

-It'll be fun, isn't it? Anne looked at me, Lynn, she seemed excited. I hadn't seen her like that in a long time.

-Yeah-I nodded to them and we got out of the car. We stopped at the entrance of the building where we were greeted by a medium-sized but rather stocky man who smiled broadly and greeted Charles. I wondered how they knew each other. Alan let us in when we came in, I looked around, there were drunks and dancing people everywhere. Someone had painted their bodies glowing in the dark. I admit it looked pretty cool.
