...

I slowly woke up from what I thought was my...certain death this time around and yet, I'm relatively okay. Although, the only thing I saw was darkness around me which stirred my suspicions.

"Where am I? System explain yourself!" I shouted internally.

[Host has activated a hidden skill and awoken in a new world. Currently, the host is still in an egg.]

Oh right...

[Host requires one final experience to dampen feelings immediately and develop skills rapidly, hence why this world was chosen. Emotions can be positively impacting on individuals, however, the host has shown the opposite. If evidence is provided FOR emotions, they will be encouraged in future. Currently, though, they are a detriment to the host.]

I- Yes, You're right system, But the ability to feel things is what makes me human though.

[System predicted host would retort with the said sentence...Do you think you're still human? The Host has access to unlimited potential and yet shackles himself to mortal thinking. Mortal thinking got you killed. In future, Adapt, Evolve and Overcome. To accomplish this transformation in mentality, The Host has been provided with missions to complete. If The Host fails the mission provided to him, System will seek out a more suitable Host.]

Before the system could continue, however, I laughed at it,

"you petty bastard, you're mad at me for fucking up aren't you?"

[The Host has failed himself, his goals and his System.]

.....

Raiden's face suddenly dropped as soon as the system gave him that phrase and he started deeply reflecting on if he truly was wrong for allowing his views from earth were affecting his ability to improve.

[End of Lifetime Missions:

Obtain 1 Million Units of Energy

Consume 500,000 Kg of Biomass

Kill and Consume the Overlord/s of the Current Biome]

[Rewards: Life]

Raiden glanced at the missions with a dark expression, his face was going through different emotions as pain, anger, indignance and many other emotions raced through his mind. He was tired. Tired of being taken advantage of. Tired of being looked at as if he was lesser than any other human being in that godforsaken world of shinobi. Even on Earth, if you weren't rich or didn't have a high position within a company then you were automatically deemed inferior.

He roared into the darkness in wrath,

"My only ever crime was that I cared for people?

And I got punished for that?

Is that truly how the world is...Is THAT truly what I have to become?"

The darkness was silent all around me as he continued thinking, still frustrated until finally, the calm, mellow Raiden exploded into a completely new terrifying individual.

"Darkness?

You want Death, Darkness and Destruction?

All I've ever known is Death, Darkness and Destruction...

YOU CAN HAVE IT!

I. Will. Break Them. And Nothing, NOTHING SHALL STAND IN MY WAY!"

"I felt worried when I first opened my eyes in here but now I understand... I'm the Devil Himself" he bellowed into the darkness.

[I was wondering what would break first, your mind...or your body? It would seem that the answer is your body. Congratulations, The Host has defied his strings of fate.]

After a while of calming down, he crossed his legs and began to meditate on his dark emotions. He didn't know how long a time he was within the endless darkness. Within that time, he felt those deep emotions and directed them, restrained them. Finally, he shaped them into many forms, from the sharpest swords to the most impenetrable shields. Eventually, he saw a crack of light within the darkness as the explosive emotions no longer showed on his face. His countenance took on a more frosty look as his gaze now turned to the many fractures beginning to form around the seemingly infinite darkness. This confused Raiden as he thought he should be birthed if he's currently only an egg in his mother's stomach...so what's with these cracks?

Crash! He finally felt a breeze of air pass over his body and slowly opened his eyes...A brown rocky texture encapsulated his vision as his mind finally understood where he was.

"I'm in a fucking cave..." He blurted in an indistinct mixture of growls and cries "System, what is the meaning of this?"

[As stated previously, to immerse the host more, You are no longer human]

Raiden surprisingly did not panic and instead nodded as he turned his sights to his arms and legs. He had 2 short arms and 2 longer, more powerful-looking legs. His arms were of a similar deep, copper-coloured texture to the cave and his body was of a scaly touch. He attempted to first stand on two legs and he was successful then he looked more intently at his arms.

Each hand had four fingers tipped at the end with retractable, razor-sharp claws. He looked down at his stomach and noticed that it was of a different colour, baby blue. Ironic. The baby blue colour stretched the entirety of his lower half, including his jaw. He couldn't notice any other parts of his body but as his head swerved around, taking in the terrain of his surroundings, He saw a body of water at the furthest edge of this cave.

Raiden then repositioned himself into his 4-legged form which was much more comfortable as he scanned his surroundings before he started scampering towards the edge of the water once he confirmed that this little cave-like area was safe.

He inched closer to it after a few minutes and noticed his full features... There was a muscular, thick tail connected to my tailbone...

"Fuck I look like an Ancient Charmander..." Raiden sighed.

[Congratulations to Host for correctly identifying his species! Species Registered, Ancient Charmander. Binomial Name produced, Salamandra Aquadraconis.]

[Ancient Charmander entry: Water/Dragon Type.

Its ancestor recently came out of the waters and evolved primitive flight capabilities before it tapped into draconic energy forming this organism. It has gills along its neck and its legs which provide an efficient gas exchange to the legs and tail when aquatically mobile. It utilises a form of countershading to hide from predators and sneak up on prey.]

(A/N: similar to why sharks are coloured black on the top and white on the bottom, so if you look at it from below, it blends in with the sky. If you look at it from the top it blends in with the deep ocean)

(A/N: I've attached what he looks like/will look like)

"..." Raiden was gobsmacked as he moved away from the edge of the water, sensing that something was approaching him. This allowed him to learn more about the sensory capabilities of his tiny body. It seemed to be similar to snake vision. Snakes use a combination of infrared vision with a variable acuity as well as colour detection. Another main function is their chemoreception to indicate the presence of predator and prey as well as to recognise environmental features.

Raiden was able to see things clearly within the dark as well as hear vibrations not just within the air but in the water as well. His keen sense of smell allowed him to notice the scent of blood creeping closer towards him. The vibrations indicated it was a stream-lined, legless creature.

Raiden glanced up towards the stalactites on the roof of the cave. He quickly scampered to the side of the wall before jumping and grabbing onto the stalactite.

...

Sure enough, these senses did help to indicate to me the presence of a predator. Its body reminded me of a sea lion...It had blue whiskers that gleamed with a dangerous light, probably poisonous. Blood covered its jaws, probably a generously donated gift from its most recent meal. Its main colour scheme was brown and blue.

It seemed like a prehistoric poisonous cousin of the pokemon known as Seel... just deadlier.

(A/N: Image Here)

I made careful to not generate any noise as this creature clambered out of the lake body of water, a lot of questions filled my mind right now but I managed to ascertain 3 pieces of information that I had to find out.

1) This was a pokemon world so how did they learn pokemon moves?

2) This seems like a predator, how come I didn't get found out and eaten?

3) What is the current timeline or is this an Alternate universe, if so, is it connected to the ultra space?

My main focus right now was to identify its capabilities and if it could sense me. As soon as it full emerged, Its nose flared as it took in the smell of its environment. One thing I did notice was that its eyes point forward, probably to provide greater focus on its prey when hunting.

Once I'd determined that its main senses were smell and sight, I sighed in relief as I hadn't started to produce any scent, instead, I took on any odours of the cave and my camouflaged back allowed me to blend in with the stalactite I was hanging off of.

Now I had to understand what it was capable of. I nibbled a piece of rock off the ceiling and threw it away.

*Drop*

The stone bounced for a bit before halting which drew the Sea Lion Pokemon's attention. It noticed the sound and decided to slowly slide towards it. Slow terrestrial movement speed noted. As it neared the sound, A brown aura formed around the seal before two pieces of rock were pulled from the ground behind it and levitated above its head. After edging closer to the origin of the sound, the seal nodded its head as the two pieces of rock got launched at the origin point.

Raiden: "..."

'Fuck so this thing has pokemon moves? But why does it seem so much more complicated than it looks? The sea lion seems to use the move effortlessly and yet it had to release an aura which allowed it to manipulate pieces of rock and only THEN could it launch them?' Raiden started deliberating on this perplexity until the sea lion left this cave.

Raiden slowly clambered down from his vantage point before he felt his stomach rumble, "Fuck." He grumbled.

There was very little in this cave to eat, he would have to scavenge for small insects to consume. Raiden noticed a small inconspicuous silverfish (A/N: an insect) which was crawling around not far away from here with his vibrational hearing. He rushed over to it before feeling a bit nauseous looking at the live insect he was about to eat. He then remembered a quote from one of his favourite meerkats on earth,

"..I guess, Hakuna Matata?"
