Vicky cried as she looked at Connor.
"Don't say that!" Connor said. His eyes softened, when he saw Vicky cry. He knelt down in front of her, and cleaned her tears.
"No! It's true dad. It's true what everyone says about me. I'm a monster. I don't deserve happiness. I don't deserve a normal life," Vicky said. She tried to step away from Connor, but Connor hugged her.
"Shshsh! Stop thinking this way, and please stop crying. You're making me look bad in front of the other kids," Connor said. Vicky smiled a little, and then hugged Connor back.
"I'm sorry, daddy! I'm sorry!" Vicky said, while hugging Connor.
Connor carried Vicky to the car. He took her bag off, and put it in the back seat. Connor put Vicky's seatbelt on, and kissed her forehead.
Connor drove to the parking lot of a mall. He looked at Vicky who had fallen asleep.
