*CLOCK TICKING: TIK, TOK, TIK, TOK, TIK*

(That sound…. I hate that sound.)Silver thought to himself as he lay in bed. His pillow swallowed his head, a sensation he enjoyed at night but drove him out of bed the next morning. He dismounts his bed and walks across the room and opens the room to his bathroom. When he eyes himself in the mirror, a blue-eyed dude eyes him back. He has golden brown skin and silver hair that shone like the moon, his head was shaved in the sides and there were always these three big strands of hair that popped up in from the front.

When he finished taking a shower he came out in a dark blue shirt and boxer shorts. He crossed over to the glass doors that lead to balcony and gently pushed them open to see the world outside his room. There were cylindrically shaped sky scrapers near the horizon, as he shifted his gaze further down he sees the huge elegant mansions that belonged to the people who assist his father….his father …. Silver hated that man along with his big headed, self-righteous sons. Silver knew that he didn't share the same mother with his brothers and he would have been fine with, if his father told him about his biological mother. But instead he would be beaten to a bleeding pulp for ever mentioning the subject. He got the same treatment from his oldest brother and the middleman would just stand and watch, the expression on his face told him clearly that they would never completely see him as a brother.

Right then he heard a singing voice behind his bedroom doors, his attendant busted straight through them,

"GOOD MORNING SILVER! I'VE COME TO GET YOU READY!!"

Silver, startled, he replied, "Thank you, Rena, but I'm perfectly capable of that myself"

"Oh really? How is that working out?"She says sarcastically as she shifted her gaze down from his face and ended at his crotch. Embarrassment cloaked Silver and he rapidly put his hands over his crotch. Rena walked quickly to the balcony and pulled him by the hand.

"My goodness! You're shy… you can't even bath in the hot springs with your own brothers!"

"Hey I have my reasons!"

She sat him down on his bed, laid his uniform on the adjacent side of it, took a brush and began to do his hair. Silver looks to the right and glares at their reflection in the mirror fixed to his huge wardrobe. He keeps staring at Rena, Silver is 17 years old and Rena was 2 years older.(She isn't too old to date…and she's pretty cute) He thought. Rena had flowing blue hair which she made into a ponytail and she had shimmering purple eyes, not to mention she was single. But if Rena was so free then why didn't he make a move? He felt sick when the thought of his father came to mind so he dismissed it.

"Hey, what's with the face?" asked Rena. Silver looked up at her face for a moment and told her it's nothing.

"Well then get up! You're gonna be late!"

10 minutes later Silver found himself seated at the huge dining table with his 2 brothers. Leo and Willis kept frolicking whilst having their breakfast. Silver was inwardly annoyed by them, but at this point he didn't want to resent them too much, besides, he became very good at hiding it.

"Hey! Silver! I saw Rena heading up to your room, and I have to say she took quite some time in there, you finally did her didn't you?"Said Leo…the oldest brother, who also happened to be heir to the throne. Silver quietly looked at him, raised an eyebrow to signal his disgust, looked back down at his plate, and continued eating. Silver belonged to the Royal Family and not just any royal family, but the Zeroes, the family that ruled Earth. His dad was literally the 'King of the World', apart from that their family was the top of the 8 families governed the Milky Way galaxy.

"Are you serious!? Silver, you really wanna remain a virgin that much? You know dad actually hired her for a reason right? You're gonna put her in a lot of trouble when he's back from Mars."

(He's right, Dad actually hired Rena so I'd lose my virginity to her,of course it didn't work, though it did work for my two older brothers, not with Rena, but with two other 'maids' he hired.)

"Don't mind him Leo, he's a wuss." Said Willis.

Leo laid back in his seat and put his feet on the table,

"Or maybe he's afraid he can't impress her, he doesn't even join us in the hot springs, you must have a small d—",Silver didn't let Leo finish his sentence.

"I'm done eating, I'll see you guys at school."

"You're not using the portal? My prince?" said one of the butlers rushing after him when he got up from his seat.

"No, I'm fine, I'll use the long way."

"Then let me prepare your vehicle, my prince!"

"No thanks, I'm good!", Silver shouted from the door. He snapped his fingers in a rhythm and a hover board with blue glowing designed parts appeared out of thin air. He made his way down stairs and out through the doors, then he took off. The butler mumbled to himself while standing at the entrance of Castle Zeroe…. "Quite unusual, a prince of earth."

Meanwhile Silver soared through the villa and out, his destination was his school in the next town and also the biggest, Geolithia, earth's capital. This is where merchants traded minerals, fabrics and other items from other planets with local people. Of course though surprisingly, Earth had something to offer. It turns out Carbon, one of the elements humans took for granted, along with Neon and Radon are less abundant on other planets and even rare. This gave earth the upper hand in terms of trade. Silver stared at the majestic infrastructure as he was approaching the city.

*PHONE VIBRATES IN RIGHT POCKET*

Silver pulls his phone out and stares at the display. Touch screens are one of the only devices that hadn't changed over the years, at least not on the outside. Silver tapped on Holographic display mode and a blue holographic interface projected from his phone right in front of him. It seemed he missed a call from his friend so he called him back. A few moments went by before he answered,

"Hey Silver! Where are you? You know there's excuse in your case for being late right?"Said Imeo.

"I know, I'll be there in no more than 5 minutes"

"Ok, the rest of us will be waiting, by the way we're having a math test 3rd period."

" Really? I didn't know."

"And yet you're always first place huh? You're trying so hard--"

"Spare me the sarcasm Imeo, I'm not even there yet."

"Well be here!"

"OK!!" Silver hanged up and turned off HD (holographic display), he picked up the speed and flew to school even faster. 4 minutes later Silver walked into a big and bright classroom. He saw Imeo who waved him over. Imeo had the same complexion as Silver except he had cold blue hair and wore glasses. Silver sat down beside him.

"Hey Silver!" greeted Izel, who was a red-eyed blonde guy. Most people in his class compared him to an angel.

"Hey Izel! What's the first period?"

"Hmm…Mat--, no, we're having history."

"Oh, I guess I better prepare a pillow."

Silver heard a laugh from behind, it was Mildred.

"Ha Ha, you're really not a fan are you?"

"No… I'm not."Immediately a man through the door with a book in his hand, puts it on the table and eyes his students for a moment. He simply wore a navy blue shirt which he tucked into his black trousers.

"Good morning everyone."

The class greeted him back and he went on to explain,

"There are two things about this class that we can't deny. The first, not all of us in here' he paused for a bit and then continued, 'are human."( he was right, Imeo may look human but he was actually from Neptune… the aquatic planet, he had been around for a while now. There were also other students in class who were from other planets. )

"The second, is that despite that fact we still see each other as normal beings, be it that you're from Earth, Mars, Neptune, Lyst you name it! We all think and feel the same more or less. And so we need each other because without each other, we cannot surpass limits. One witness to that claim is the co-operation between our planets. Carbon, Radon and Neon are elements that are quite common on Earth especially since the discovery of noble solids. Humans produced carbon dioxide when they breathed or when they burnt something, it's in the rocks, the trees, sand it's everywhere!'

'But it isn't as common with other planets, however, even they have elements we didn't hope to find on earth. And so carbon plus the combination of other elements from the other 7 main planets, gave birth to Solium, a new kind of energy that fueled our civilizations, driving us past our limits. It has especially improved our means of transportation I mean we can go from planet to planet without the hustle and bustle asteroids and black holes that could send us into total oblivion. Now before we look at how our planets even came to co-operate, I want to give you a revision exercise on our last topic, so take out your tablets and our send you the questions."

The students took out their learning tabs and began to do the work. Later on during recess, Silver and his friends were in the cafeteria, having their lunch. Imeo was still getting lunch while his friends were already at their table.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna admit…I'm not ready for the math test." Said Izel.

"Don't worry I'll help you out, I'm gonna sit right behind you not to mention you have Silver right next door." Said Mildred.

"There's noway I'm helping you cheat, forget it!"

"But why!" wined Izel.

"Because you have horrible timing! Mr Metiko almost caught us cheating last time because of you!" said Silver. Imeo was just arriving at the table when another guy bumped into him. He dropped his tray of lunch, but that wasn't what annoyed him. What did annoy him was that the other guy blamed him.

"You four-eyed fish! You better watch where you going!" the first of the three guys yelled at him. Imeo adjusted his glasses and replied,

"Sorry I bumped into you, I'll be more careful next time, I mean I don't wanna make your face even uglier than it is, right?"

That statement caught the attention of the whole cafeteria and everyone laughed. The bully felt embarrassed and his friends started to back him up. The second guy, who was taller than the first started to threaten,

"Hey! Take that back before you regret it." With the last word he said his left eye color changed, the rest of his eye was black but his iris glowed red. Imeo simply puts his hands in his pockets and says,

"Oh…the idiots are angry cause they can't make a proper comeback, you know it is true what they say, 'with that he faces the red-eyed boy burning in and lifts his chin up, 'violence is for the weak minded."

*CROWD "OOOOOOH!!!"*

Anger and embarrassment enveloped the second bully, his fist suddenly was covered in flames and it was heading straight for Imeo. Everything that came afterwards happened in a flash and the only thing everyone heard was something that either sounded like a low bass kick from a high quality sound amplifier…. Or a rocket that just ignited. Imeo had already closed his eyes and braced himself for impact but he felt nothing. He opened his eyes and saw a familiar shade of gray in front of him.

The second guy's fist somehow got stuck in Silver's hand. Silver let go of it, started to push Imeo towards the table and turned his back on him.

"I'm sorry if my friend offended you, he can be stupid sometimes." He said. Still, the red-eyed guy felt he wasn't done with them so he follows him. He grabs Silver's shoulder in an attempt to punch him, but instead, Silver slaps he's hand off and sweeps him off his feet. When he hits the ground, the other two bullies run to confront Silver but a voice interrupts them,

"STOP!!" everyone turns their heads to the cafeteria entrance and sees the school headmaster walking slowly towards them. He looks to be in his 30s, tall and has his green hair combed back. He is also wearing a three piece black suit. But as 'hot' so the ladies would put it, as he is, the cold gaze from the dark purple eyes behind his glasses was enough to cast an atmosphere that froze anyone who was present. Only the sound of his footsteps can be heard as he walks towards the rowdy bunch of students causing a disturbance. When he stops, he scans the situation. Moments elapse before he releases his cold yet commanding tone,

"Silver Zero, as well as those three boys, to my office…now."

He then turns his back and walks back towards the entrance, the boys follow him to his feet. Silver tosses glance over his shoulder of which Imeo responds to shaking his head. When the door shuts, everything goes back to normal. Imeo picks up the apple he dropped along with the rest of his lunch, wipes it on his school jacket and takes a bite whilst he occupies a seat where his friends are.

"That idiot, he can't just mind his own business." He says. Mildred objects,

"Are you serious!? He just took the fall for you and you're saying he 'mind his own business'."

"Of course. He isn't just any rich school kid like the rest of us, he's Silver Zero, son to the King of this planet! And besides, it's not easy to keep his secret if he recklessly uses it like that."

"at least he was clever about it' Izel interjected, ' I mean people think that sound came from the other guy's fist."

"Well yeah, but I'm sure they're also wondering why a guy with no cell energy blocked that. The point is he draws too much attention sometimes, he should be more careful." The bell rings as soon as Imeo finishes his sentence and everyone goes back to class.

4hours and 30 minutes later, Silver arrives from school. When he opens one of the front doors he finds Leo, his oldest brother, waiting for him on the stairs. Silver has a good guess why when he sees him.

"Hello little bro." he says as he slowly descends from the stairs.

"Hello Leo, what is it?" Silver responds with crystal clear irritancy.

"Nothing really, I just happened to get a call from our headmaster, he said you were in a fight."

(of course he called my brother), "That's none of your business Leo, now leave me alone I've got lots of homework." The moment Silver tried to walk away something stopped him, as hard as he tried to move he couldn't.(Well, it's that time again.) He managed to turn his head. His brother's eyes were glowing just like at school except for him it was both, and his iris was a bright orange, the same as his hair. He had an expression on his face that someone would only make at the sight of a rat.

"Dog, you disgust me, now turn around and face me."

Silver turned around slowly and eyed his brother, knowing he wasn't going to enjoy this. The scent of something burning hit his nose but he just stood where he was as Leo walked slowly towards him, leaving his footsteps burnt into the ground.

"One thing you should get into that head of yours, never turn your back on me, because someday I'll be your king! Another is that you don't soil the House of Zero. Now since you had the guts to defy me and disrespect our name' at this point Leo caught Silver by the neck with his right hand lifting him off his feet, and made and made his left hand into a fiery fist then continued ' I'll punish you and don't worry…it's gonna hurt." With that Leo gave his little brother a mighty blow to his guts, sending him into the wall. When Silver hit the wall the sound was loud enough to summon all the butlers and the housemaids, Rena came rushing down the stairs and Willis followed slowly behind her. When she arrived at the sight Silver was engraved into wall and he was bleeding almost everywhere, he also had hole burnt into his shirt.

Rena put her hands to her mouth, when Willis finally arrived,

"Alright Leo let's see what work of art you've made now' he teased as he scanned Silver's misfortune, 'woah, that's a masterpiece."

"Willis, get him off the wall and fix it." Leo commanded and went up stairs, the butlers and housemaids bowed nervously as they made way for him to pass.

"Ugh, I'm always cleaning up your mess!" with that Willis raises his hand and his iris glows white as the rest of his eye goes pitch black. He pulls Silver from the wall without touching him, sets him on floor, and fixes the wall in a manner that makes it look like he's reversing time on it. When he finished it was like no damage had been done to the wall in the first place, but the same could not be said for Silver. He managed to get up, however, he was limping.

"Th-th-thanks Willis." He struggled to speak.

"Don't mention it, just try to stay on his good side." Willis said as he went back up stairs. Silver knew he was speaking ironically. Rena helped him up to his bedroom and sits him down on his bed. She closes the doors, gets some water in a basin and begins to clean his wounds. The trail of blood could be noticed by anyone happening to pass by.

"Why do they do this to you—"her voice trailed off at the last two words. Silver looked up at Rena and smirked,

"That's just how it is being a prince…. And a mistake."

"Don't talk like that! You know you're more than that--"

"No Rena' he weakly interrupted her, 'as long as I'm in this prison, I'll never be anything more." Silver stood up and Rena tries to stop him.

"It's fine, I'm healed anyway." Suddenly all his wounds are gone, but Rena could sense something deeper, something darker. She stood and observed him whilst he was at the balcony, a few moments of silence passed when she noticed him clench his fists. She knew it. Though there was such a thing as saints how could he withstand the very reality of not even knowing the face of his own mother, being in a family that tortured him emotionally and even more physically. To him that was the definition of a prince. No one would go through that without the thought of getting back at them. Silver felt angry and strange, it's like tonight, he was about to burst. Suddenly sword length blue glowing piano keys materialized, becoming brighter and brighter. But before Silver could do anything he felt someone grab him from behind.

"You know what really impresses me, it's that you have the power to fight back and yet you'd rather have yourself pummeled…why don't you do it."Rena whispered whilst she hugged him.

Silver finally remembering why he never let this side of him show, let a silence sink in, then he responded,

"I'm afraid…that if I do, I'll be just like them."There was a short silence before Rena spoke,

"Why don't we make a deal, for as long as I'm here…. I'll be your mother."

Silver chuckled and replied "Silly, you're too young to be my mother."

"Then I'll be your Godmother, you just have to fulfill two of my wishes." There was a short silence which Silver broke,

"Go on…"

"Play me a song."

"You know you could just turn on the music player right?"

"But you're a sound energist who can actually materialize sound, I want to hear that tune you're always humming when you study."

"Fine then." Silver said when the blue glowing piano keys he manifested began to rotate around them and play a soothing melody. Silver lost the strength to keep stand and almost collapsed on the floor when Rena caught him at the cost of losing her balance and falling on her butt.

"You're surprisingly heavy!"

She said as she sat, letting him rest his head on her laps. The melody keeps playing, it sounded beautiful and nothing Rena had ever heard could match it. It told her so much about the thoughts of its creator. Rena was lost in the melody till Silver asked,

"What's the second wish?"

Rena absorbed the melody a bit more then answered,

"Silver, promise me…"

"Promise you what?"

"Promise me you'll run away." Silver's eyes widened for a bit, and then he promised,

"Fine then… I promise I will runaway—"

"Even so' Rena interrupted, 'never forget me when you do… because no matter where you go, you will always be the prince of the world, you just have to find out what more there is to you, you hear me?"

Silver keeps quiet for a bit then answers,

"Ok Rena…. I promise." They continue to watch the gentle light of the moon accompanied by the city lights in the distance. However, Silver notices something strangely familiar about the full moon this night.

(Hmm, I must be thinking things.)
