Chapter 31 - You Look Cuter Than A Panda

You look cuter than a panda

The Same Date Night

Kylie parked her car and moved into her apartment building.

She noticed that the reception counter was empty. But she didn't give it a thought and continued to walk towards the elevator.

She pressed her floor number on the keypad. She leaned back on the elevator wall. She closed her eyes and big teardrops rained down her cheeks. She didn't attempt to prevent them rather she hoped that along with those tears her feelings also went by.

The lift made a ding sound and stopped. Kylie entered her passcode on the electronic lock and the door of her apartment got unlatched.

She took nimbly steps, somehow she succeeded to reach her bedroom. She unlocked the door and fell directly over her bed.

"Why?"

"Why did I have to meet him again?"

"After so many years? What is left?"

"I thought I was over with the pain but he had to come back again in my life.

She kept punching and mumbling incoherently. Her tears got mixed with the thick layers of the foundation. It stained her pillow cover. The mascara was waterproof so it stayed the same.

Kylie couldn't be bothered with anything after the shock she suffered. The feelings locked up in the farthest corner of her heart got unlocked today unexpectedly. The man she loved one-sidedly had kissed her lips. The man she gave her heart to was crushed into pieces and had shown his interest in her.

The kiss brought a mirthful smile to her face. She wondered if life was taking revenge on her for her past life.

The love and emotions she had killed by her hands had been revived by him.

"What should I do?"

She didn't know. She felt her energy drain out of her system. She laughed at the turn of events.

"History is repeating itself. I have to go through the same trauma."

"Why have you come back to my peaceful life, Alexandro Wilson?" She wailed out and cried

Due to extreme stress, Kylie didn't realise when she fell asleep, curled up like a vulnerable cat.

She slept in the same yellow hideous dress. She took off the wig in her car as she drove to her home.

"Umm...Master…."

Michael halted.

He robotically turned his head towards Esther who stood like a proud Empress staring at her lowly peasants. She had her hands folded.

Michael briefly paused.

"Take that water jug. Throw it upon them." Esther ordered Michael.

Michael didn't move from his place.

Esther narrowly glanced at him, "You don't want to? Or you can't?"

Michael felt as if he was being targeted from everywhere. If he followed his master then the other two of his masters would be upset for him. But he can't have the courage to avoid Esther's commands.

"Master, they are your best friends. Why would you choose such an evil way to wake them up?" The curiosity inside him was eating him slowly.

"They are my best friends and that is the reason I am offering them this friendly way."

Esther didn't even blink as she said it.

'Master, no one likes to get disturbed during their sleep.' Michael wished to argue yet he knew who would be at the losing end.

With Esther and her negotiation skills, she might make Michael suffer for meddling between her and her friends.

So he kept his lips sealed nonetheless he didn't budge and stayed there.

Esther smirked at his protesting ways. She was aware that he respected her friends as much as he did to her. She understood why he pretended to not hear her.

'Michael, get ready to have a hectic schedule for the whole month.'

She restrained herself from laughing.

Esther put the lid of the jug on the table, "Since you can't do it then it is only me who has to do it."

She splashed the water on the two sleeping logs. Both the girls woke up with a shriek. They took defensive instances and surveyed around them. They sighed when they observed no harm.

"Are you both drama queens?"

"Let us sleep, Star."

They mumbled, not realising that their friend was standing right there and what they saw was not a game of their brain.

They shut their eyes and ears and tried to go back to sleep.

"Really? You have the guts to sleep even now?"

Esther remarked in a chilly tone. The other two girls stilled.

"Alisha, sleep, we must be dreaming."

"Viviana Roberts."

Esther spelt her best friend's full name. Viviana without any delay stood on her bed with sleepy eyes and open-mouthed.

"You!! Do you have any idea how worried we were for you last night?" She blamed Esther the first thing after waking up and regaining her consciousness.

Michael had pulled out the chair from the corner of the room for Esther to sit. She sat on it like an empress. She gazed at Viviana being the angry bird.

"Care to tell us where you have disappeared?"

Viviana demanded.

Alisha seemed to treat Viviana as air and swirled her head to Esther. She saw her sitting regally. The chair was nothing special but now as Esther had sat on it, it increased its worth.

Alisha blinked her eyebrows and pouted, "Star, you left me alone with a wild monkey."

She blamed Esther.

"Hey! Who are you addressing as a monkey?" Viviana said in a loud manner. Alisha stuck out her tongue at Viviana. Viviana scoffed at her.

They began to fight just like the cat and dog. Esther let out a mellow chuckle. The girls stopped their verbal fight and stared at Esther with delight and amusement.

Michael had left them alone after Esther had awakened her friends. He respected their privacy. He stood outside alarmed at the entrance of the door.

"Awwww, my adorable Star, did I ever tell you that you look cuter than a panda?"

Esther didn't take any action to put an end to her friend's blabbering.

"Ali, am I saying false?"

"No, you are exactly on point."

"Then help me to make her understand that she should smile more as it makes her look so beautiful. Her beauty surpasses all the standards."

"She is looking ethereal."

They somehow dismissed the most obvious thing. The girl they were singing praises for was inside the same room and staring at them with her blank eyes.
