Age 7
When I was seven I never understood our family dynamic. My parents and siblings often tried to hide it from me since I was so young. I would have never really understood why we were so different from the other families.
Ma would wake me up every morning at seven a.m for my bath which my brother had to go collect water from the tap outside, boil it by the stove and pour it into a metallic bath bowl we all used.
Pa would be gone long before I woke to go work by the farm and come back home an hour before I went to sleep. I rarely saw him except for when it was on weekends but at that age I did not mind. I had two siblings who were always with me unless they were at school of course.
