Edward
Vasili, Dad and I had dinner that very evening. It was filled with idiotic banter and even worse jokes, but it managed to get me out of my glum mood. Dad did not seem worried that he and Mum were separated because he had hope she would come around. If he had faith then so would I.
When dinner was over and we went back home, I felt myself zoning in and out of consciousness. Today was an extremely busy first day at work and it would be no different for the rest of the week. At least Vasili promised me he would come over whenever I was free for lunch so he could distract me from my busy schedule even if it was just for a few moments.
We both took a shower and cuddled each other in bed as he told me what he had been up to the whole day.
