At the Wu Family's villa, Madam Wu kneaded her head to try and relieve some pain. Everyone was giving her headaches recently. First, her stupid husband Wu Ling brought in another mistress in the family making her feel like she was the empress and she had to manage his harem. She had to give the woman a house so she could give birth again. Then, the Yue family on the other side was showing signs of wanting to change who they supported and Wu Chenren's position was looking unstable. And now, she sees a video on her phone of her 'son'.
What was even more shocking was that he already had such a deep mind at 15. This chilled her because she didn't think Wu Chenren was so ruthless. 'What if he knows that his mother died because of me? Would he also scheme against me? Maybe he already knows.' Madam Wu was so scared and she knew she couldn't support him - life is important first.
Even though her own position would be unstable, it was better than being dealt with later.
She quickly called the butler and asked him to send a message to her in-laws. She would discuss it with them thoroughly before telling her husband.
Wu Chenren was still excitedly planning a date, not knowing that the Wu family was about to give him up.

On the weekend, Bai Lianhua finally had time to look at the surveillance footage again. She saw Wu Chenren talking to the mysterious girlfriend 'Qingqing' and she also saw Yue Linlan trying to persuade her parents using the video that Bai Lianhua sent to her.
Her parents told her to delete the video but in their minds, they knew Wu Chenren was nothing good. They strive for benefits and marrying Wu Chenren would only cause conflicts. They knew when to cut their losses and move on. They also told Yue Linlan not to care anymore and she sighed in relief.
["This video footage of Wu Chenren's confession has helped me the most! I should continue staring at him and dig his corner for now. Yue Linlan cannot be punished for the gangster incident so there's no point in staring at her. System, put surveillance on Qingqing, Madam Wu and my father Hu Peng."
The system replied refusing one of the requests: "You need to have met Qingqing first before you can monitor her and that is the same for Madam Wu. I know you can do it~ Fighting!"]
Bai Lianhua also saw where her class teacher kept his money and decided to report him to the Department of Education. Even though she couldn't deal with Madam Wu or Qingqing right now, she could still handle the class teacher. And if she did it right, Yue Linlan may also be implicated.
The first thing she did was to sign up for programming classes to try and learn hacking. She could only go one step at a time because there was no guarantee that sending a video would convict the teacher.
She also continued honing her acting skill and made Mom Hu laugh every time she practised. This was because she stood in front of the mirror and practised laughing, crying, giggling etc. Her expressions were very comical and for a while, the atmosphere at home was warm.

Over at Wu Chenren's side, he was busy getting ready to go out. He dressed meticulously and looked very dashing and cute. Even the maids at home blushed when he passed them by. He didn't tell his mother that he was going out at all so apart from himself and the driver, everyone else didn't know a thing.
He got to the restaurant first and nervously waited outside for his girlfriend. His hands became clammy and he was sweating a lot. He wanted to always make a good impression.
Mei Qinghua didn't let him wait too long and she also arrived. She was wearing a white satin dress, her hair was curled and put to one side. She also wore white kitten heels and held a small white handbag. All in all, she looked like a pure white lily and people gave her glances as she walked down the road.
Wu Chenren was slightly proud in his heart because his girlfriend was very good looking and was all his.
"Did you wait too long?" Mei Qinghua acted distressed and she pulled a handkerchief to wipe Wu Chenren's hands. He blushed and shook his head.
He tentatively held her hand and walked into the restaurant slowly. Mei Qinghua smiled softly thoroughly enjoying his embarrassment. They were quickly seated and a waiter put the menu before them. Mei Qinghua knew this was a high-class restaurant so she ordered very generically - some foie gras, caviar with pancakes, steak and salad. Even though the fish eggs did make her feel ill, she still forced herself to eat them.
Every movement of hers was filled with elegance and grace and Wu Chenren couldn't resist giving her glances in appreciation. 'This is what a girlfriend should look like!'
They didn't talk much during the meal because that would be a breach of etiquette so Wu Chenren patiently waited until the end. They walked out of the restaurant and he led her to a nearby park where his driver had set up food and champagne for a picnic.
Mei Qinghua appeared delighted and she gave Wu Chenren a tight hug. His face lit up and his cheeks were so red that passers-by chuckled. A grandma even commented on 'young love' making Wu Chenren very embarrassed.
"We don't have to eat much but let's enjoy some time together Qingqing."
She nodded shyly and picked up the champagne flute: "To us?" Wu Chenren mirrored her and the glasses clinked.
"How is school going Xiao Chen? Are things hard? Is Yue Linlan still chasing you?"
Wu Chenren shook his head: "Actually, yesterday, she was acting very weird. Before she would send me loving glances but yesterday afternoon, she barely glanced at me. Also, Hu Lianhua couldn't be found. I was going to ask her for a date but l never saw her shadow the whole day. It's very strange! What do you think?"
Mei Qinghua felt that this direction was inexplicable but she replied nervously: "Could they know our plans? Otherwise, how could Yue Linlan act so coldly and Hu Lianhua not be seen?"
Wu Chenren thought this was feasible. "But l never told anyone. Only you and l know so how could they find out?" Mei Qinghua couldn't say that other people knew as well so she nodded her head feebly. Still, she had a bad feeling about the whole thing and resolved to report it later.
She quickly changed the subject: "How are things at home then? How are auntie and uncle?"
"I haven't seen my father today. But l also haven't seen my mother today. Normally, she would wake me up in the morning and give me some food but today, the maids did it. It's very strange. This has never happened the whole time l have lived in the main house. Do you think she is angry with me? But l haven't acted unusually."
Alarm bells rang in Mei Qinghua's heart. 'Are we already exposed? But no one on my side would do anything, how could it be exposed? Maybe it is Yue Linlan? Impossible! That girl is obsessed with Wu Chenren! Hu Lianhua?' She shook her head again. "Don't worry Xiao Chen, let me find out for you."
