That flash of light seemed to last for years, even decades, as it blinded everyone on that battlefield... No, blinded everyone in the whole world.
In the warriors' sight, only pure blue light could be seen. They could still move their bodies, but they didn't want to. For some reason, as that light touched their skin, it felt comfortable. It was like the fond caressing of a lover, the soft touch of rose petals on the skin, the delicacy of feathers as they rubbed against their faces.
They could compare that feeling to many things, and yet not get quite on the sensation they wanted to describe.
The whole planet surfed on that wave of feelings and warmth. They let their bodies get guided, instead of trying to fight against the current. And, the more they did so, the more they loosened and let those emotions intoxicate (or purify) their souls. An addictive feeling. So addictive that, even after a few seconds of it, they felt like they couldn't live without it anymore.
