Claire and Dean advanced both at the same time. Dean took the lead while she stayed some steps behind. Her goal was to attack when Dean couldn't, and vice versa.
Dean swung his sword, slashing Perseus diagonally. The latter defended the attack, parrying his blade afterward. When he was going to attack him, though, he needed to stop the attacking motion. Claire was coming right after, thrusting her dagger toward his jugular.
Perseus waved his body to the side, seeing the short blade of the dagger passing millimeters away from his face. Even at that strange angle, he could manage to swing his sword. The balance and body consciousness of that bishop were impressive. Harpe came vertically, cutting the air upwards.
Nevertheless, Perseus' blade got stopped at the start of its motion. Dean blocked his attack, protecting Claire. The blade of his weapon cracked entirely and was about to break with just a smidge push.
