Matthew opened his eyes slowly. He was feeling quite dizzy, and he had a strong headache. He felt like something hot was on top of his forehead. Besides, his mouth was dry and his entire body was in pain.
'I am really messed up, huh? No wonder I passed out in that alley. I just hope that the doctor who treated me is a good person...', he thought, worried about himself. If the enemy finally captured him, he was going to get in trouble. It would be hard to run away from them.
"Oh, so you are awake!" he heard a voice cheerfully saying as someone approached him with hasty steps.
'When this person walks, it seems like she is walking on wood or something. We probably are not in a hospital but a normal house... Wait, did she bring me to her house!?'
Matthew felt a cascade of black hair fall on his chest as someone inclined slightly over his body and looked at his face. It was the doctor that he saw before in the alley.
