Dean kept in a fighting stance as he looked in front. He wasn't sure whether his enemy was coming from there or not but he needed to focus on a single point to sharpen his other senses and be ready for anything.
'Is this person trying to intimidate me at all? I hope so because, if that's not the case, then the situation is even worst than I thought. If he is casually emitting this amount of "Willpower" just to protect himself from the cold, it means that the real deal is even more frightening.'
Dean wanted to put Claire on the ground, so he would be able to defend himself if something happened. However, he didn't want to lose his concentration and end up being caught by surprise. In the end, he preferred to stay with her in his back until he could spot that person that was coming at him.
'If only this blizzard wasn't getting in my way...', he thought, gritting his teeth in frustration.
