"He is still breathing...", Claire thought as she put her head near Dean's face after taking him out of the snow. Excalibur was lying beside him like a worried partner awaiting Claire's diagnosis.
'His breathing is shallow, but it's there. Probably his lungs are suffering due to the cold. I woke up in time to reheat my body with "Willpower", but Dean didn't have the same opportunity. Excalibur was nourishing his body with the little bit of energy that it had, but it was far from enough to keep him safe.
'I am glad that I found him before something happened. If it was already too late for this, I don't know what I would do.'
Claire fondly kissed his lips caressing his hair with her hands.
'I will find a way to get us out of here. Thank you for protecting me, my love,' she thought. 'You are turning into the hero that I always dreamed of, after all. That's what makes me the more glad. Anyway, that's not the time to think about these things.'
