Clay created three arrows in his bow and shot them at the same time in a swift movement, showing all his proficiency with that weapon. He dove to the side while taking Susan with him, also avoiding being targeted by a round of different spells aimed at them.
Once he landed on the ground he gently laid Susan there, somersaulted to the right, and shoot again in the same pattern as before, exploding his enemies in front.
Arrows came from the ambassador rangers on top of the buildings around, which he deflected with his own arrows or blocked with his bow while moving around Susan.
'I am not going to let a single spell, blade, or arrows scratch her! Not even a single one!' he thought as he continued hopping side to side, deflecting the arrows while dealing with the enemies charging at him with blades and dodging the spells from the Ascendants in the rearguard.
